Pink Riva

I bought a Riva kit for my Sister in Law –PINK. She quit smoking, used the Riva for three weeks, and then quit using the Riva. (And stayed off the stinkies too) She gave the Riva back to me with a thanks for helping her quit smoking. I forgot, aparantly, to tell her that vaping is supposed to become a hobby.
Now I could use those little 650 batts for traveling and stealth vaping, but pink?
Does anyone know if I can get the pink off without ruining the battery? What’s underneath the pink?

lmao, why not buy a chrome/manly sticker from auto zone, (lots to pick from in the pinstripe section) and just put a sticker over the pink....OR be secure and rock the pink! LMAOROTFF!

Know how to get the stink off, but never tried to get the pink off

Take some 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and see if that doesn't loosen up the paint. I know it took the paint off of my pink atomizers, and the paint on the battery is pretty much the same.

I bought the pink Riva Kit as a gift, that's got to be the ugliest batt available, it's even a ugly pink lol. You probably could get it off with some work, it would be easier just to cover it up, wrapping it in electrical tape would be an improvement and have a nice grip lol.

you can scratch the paint off if you want.
I like the electrical tape idea, that is fabulous.
You could see if someone wanted to trade for a color that you would like better.

BTW, that is awesome that she quit cigs & vaping! Excellent job you did on saving a life!

its scratches right off... I had 2 titanium rivas and in 3 weeks nearly all the color scratched away and wore off...

Thanks all for the input. The Pink is relatively easy to scrape off with a utility knife, but the white under the pink took some work. After cleaning with alcohol it didn't look too bad. But pretty much anything was better than pink.
But the best solution was black heat shrink tubing. I has some in the workshop and gave it a go. A great ruberized non slip BLACK finish. I might do the rest of my EGOS.

Goo Gone. Works great, especially when you don't want it to. lol Tried to get superglue off of the side and, well, my black eGo turned stainless in about 30 seconds.

I have an atty that had scratches on it so I was going to put some pretty tape on it. what I found was the tape pulled off all the black. regular scotch tape will do it to....you seem to need a scratch as a starting point.
