It's just non stop box mods coming out lately. I'd love to get one but with the way they pump them out it seems like something better is always coming out soon. I just bought a copper penny clone to use til the reviews get out about all these new box mods.

Magnetic battery door is nice and about time, don't know why they make them fire down to .1 ohm, it's not necessary at all when you control the wattage on them

It's necessary if you want to be able to use the full range of the device. For example, I have the Sigelei 150W and I have to build below 0.4 ohms in order to use the full wattage range.

I read this post yesterday. Just left to mull it over. Still not sure whether to be happy or P.O.ed. I just bought (2) IPN mini 30 watt units and went ahead and ordered a Cloupor mini.
I really did(do) want one higher power unit that can handle at least .2ohm loads. I generally build above .5 but like to test now and then at around .3ohm and would like the head room.

Yup I'm in the same boat as you The features on the IPV 4 look really good but wondering what chip is in the midi
Not to mention that it'll probably be cheaper than the sx mini. I think they will have a better chip in the ipv mini 2 after the problems they had with the first version.

The vaping world is like the computer world was in the early 1990's...by the time you buy it brand new, it's two generations behind.

With one exception. At least with Recognized brands you knew your purchase would work right. Been building PC's for over 25yrs. Can't remember a time they were so shoddy in QC as Vaping equipment is. Makes you wonder where these companies got their education and experience.

This might get me to forget about getting the sx mini.

I have the sx mini and it's by far the best piece I own. That said, I may get the ipv 100 depending on what yihi chip it uses. The sx350 in the mini is the best chip out right now imo and I know they aren't putting those in this ipv line, but if it can come close to it I'll bite.
