I was looking for an affordable box mod, and ended up eyeballing the IPV2 mini 70w. My girl just ordered the Sigelei v2 100w mod, and while its awesome looking. I am curious what your opinions are comparing 70w to 100w, and the quality of the IPV2 vs the Sigelei v2. Build quality, battery drain, 2 batteries vs 1 battery. etc etc? What are some of the pros and cons? Im not sure if I would be all that much happier spending the extra money on a Sigelei for myself rather than an IPV2 Mini. The only reason I like the IPV is cus its smaller and wont eat up much pocket space, and the battery looks easy enough to change out much like my mech mod I am on at the moment.

I usually run Lower gauge coils and low ohms on a mutation X v2 atty. 70vg/30pg juice. Dunno if that will help. Just curious what everyone thinks.

Siegeli 100 w V2 - YiHi 330 V3 chip - heavier than the IPV 2.1 - two 18650 batts
IVP 2.1 70w - YiHi 330 V3C chip (shown as a 100w chip on YiHi site) - one 18650 batt

The Siegeli seems a more likely candidate for a future firmware upgrade because of the two batt configuration. May have better warranty, too (90 days). For the iPV mini 70, you have to contact ASMODUS to file a warranty claim within 30 days (and Asmodus is a middle-man from what I understand, so not an easy process).

Hope this helps.

Excellent Mod. Single Battery, so shorter use before Rechage/swap. This is normal for any single vs dual/triple battery configuration.

Dealer may claim IPV 30 day warranty, but Pioneer4You claims 6months

I've found that the build quality of the Sigeleis is generally superior to the IPVs. On the other hand, the ipv mini v2 70w is pocketable and offers alot of bang for the buck.

I own the Sigelei 50w v2 (a bit larger than the ipv mini) and I love it, but it may not offer enough power for your builds. The battery lasts all day for me so I rarely switch it out.

If you roll with the ipv and find yourself burning through the battery at high wattages, just pack another battery with you.

If you want a smaller and ergo-friendly form factor, I'd get the IPV Mini 70w. If you want longer battery life, I'd get the Sig.

Both are solid devices that would surely satisfy *most* peoples power requirements. Sounds like your average wattage based on your current builds is around 50 watts. Both will deliver that amount of power, with the consistency of a regulated output.

I would say get the 100W plus though because the 510 is going on my v2 after 6 months. I'll be changing it as soon as the new Varitube one gets here.

Could you try saying this again? Im a little confused on what you are saying? The 510 connection on the Sig is going out so you're getting a new one? Is that what a Varitube is?
