Pipe mod questions.

So I am wanting to mod a pipe. But I'm wondering what to do for the Button. Not exactly sure how to do the button. If someone could point me in the general direction that would be great.

Anyone have wiring diagrams?

Hmm. No one can help? So I'm guessing. I'd have the positive lead in the bottom. An the ground would be attach to the button or button housing and then when you press the button in. It would make contact with the negative end of the battery and it would fire. An I correct?

How about using this. 510 Auto Switch

Perhaps, ground spring on bottom, half a key ring on top wired to positive.
Mag on top of batt, piece of copper or SS glued to button. press down and you complete circut. Then spring pushes batt upward breaking connection. Kind of a PITA to accomplish...but follows the KISS protocol.

Your plate should be ferrous metal so mag holds button in mod....except when you turn it upside down.

Where do you get the button?

Just a bit of wood, with a circle of steel glued to it. Just needs to conduct electricity...and be magnetic, to hold itself on. Just used a 1" hole saw to cut a plug.

So press on and off? How is it wired? Forgive my novice brain-picking!

Positive wire from center of connector to 1/2 a key ring on top. Key ring is basically 2 loops, I only use one
Negative from body of connector to spring on bottom of shaft.
Wooden button has chrome plate on bottom of it, when you press down it completes circut from top of batt to pos post of connector.

Clear as mud???

Thank you very much. I had a similar plan in my head. But didnt think of using a key ring. Great idea. Lol. Now I need to order a pipe from eBay and I need a 510 connector. I can't wait to be able to vape a pipe. Haha.

Buy a pipe?? Make your own.
That way the batteries will fit.
