Weirdly enough I just had a bottle of our peppermint patty myself(I think it might have been mixing your order and smelling it that put me in the mood

). And after about a week I noticed a richer chocolate and weaker peppermint, and we may be adjusting that recipe to compensate because fresh mixed, it almost seems the opposite.
Chocolate is weird because it's easy to overpower but when mixed right provides that perfect melting chocolate flavor. I did enjoy the patty more about a week, week and a half later as the peppermint remained but the chocolate was much more rich.
My own tastes are skewed toward the smokier, heavier flavours and accents though. I'm curious as to what you mean by "odd". We're always open to any criticism and you're input can only help us make an even better product!
As for cherry bomb I've noticed that over time the overall flavor tends to migrate more toward the citrus flavours and away from the cherry. Cherry, imo, is very potent in its infancy, but tends to weaken over time(depending on what it's paired with). The citrus overpowers the cherry. Banana probably would too. A weaker passion fruit, dragonfruit or grape would probably fall to the cherry over a short time. Ymmv.
Fresh mixed cherry bomb provides a great punch of both flavours(cherry and citrus) though, doesn't it?! It's one of my favourites along with nana-berry fresh off the mixing table.
I used to make a cherry
tobacco(and still could release it if anyone's interested. It tasted very much like a cherry flavoured cigar), where the cherry actually aged well with the
tobacco after weeks, and that can be hard to do for anything. Only absinthe, vanilla, banana, and nutty flavours have done that in my experience.
