Place my first DIY order!

So I've been reading a ton on this, watching some tutorials, and doing some mock formulas using the online calculators, and I think Im ready to start experimenting with some small batches.

I ordered both 100mg nic (and some separate bottles of pg/vg) and a 50/50 pg/vg blend of 18% nic (which is what I normally get in my pre made juices).
Im wondering though what would be the advantage of mixing your 100mg nic with your pg/vg blend over just buying the pre-blended pg/vg with the nic level you want already mixed. Less mixing, less room for error.

Thoughts?

When you add the flavoring to the premixed 18 mg you will be diluting it and lowering the nic.

It is less expensive to buy the more concentrated nic, PG and VG and flavorings then use the calculator to get the right mix and nic content in the final product.

If you only need an approximate strength, then I don't see any reason not to.

And, that's why it would never work for me.

When I first ordered my nic, I got it in 50/50 as I didn't know what I would want to end up with. I knew I couldn't handle straight PG, and I liked the vapor of the VG and the flavor of the PG. I have since been able to narrow down which flavors I like to mix 50/50 and which 30/70 to achieve the right flavor/TH/vapor. VG I can get at CVS so don't have to pay shipping so it worked out well for me since I use more of it.

The trial and error (well, not so much the error) makes it fun. It is so rewarding when I use my rebuildable atty with my own juice and know "I DID THAT!" to get the perfect vape.
