A lot of tobacco flavors claim the original tobacco or cig had a nutty or other flavor to them. I din't notice that from smoking but did have a cig once remind me of hot dogs with mustard (enjoyed it actually, same brand as usual too). Tobacco hasn't a lot of flavor so most or all have some flavor added anyway. Meanwhile ejuice can be made from actual tobacco (TA's, NET's) and often doesn't taste like you would expect either, although it is good. And in yet another meanwhile, many claim unflavored PG tastes the closest to a Marlboro Light. And of course many complain about a lack of smoke taste in most tobacco vapes, too. I would claim that a lot of what makes smoking special doesn't even require or benefit from tobacco flavoring, I can get as much or more of the sensation of smoking, thickness and body, from FW Kiwi. Point is, you will have to choose what "like tobacco" means to you. Read reviews etc. and then just try some.

    Some brief reviews:
TFA M-Type: same as some "marlboro" flavors, that basic tobacco ejuice flavor, sort of sour but not the ones that taste like old socks/musty. Concentrated. Contains some Tabanone, used to flavor actual cigs and never in foods.
Tino D'Milano (Inawera) French Pipe: not as unique as some, but a great basic tobacco flavor. Tino's has been a go-to for basic tobaccos for me.
Inawera Tobacco Absolutes: the Garuda I tried is sweet, sour/citrus, and a bit grassy and earthy. A very good smoking substitute: 0.8% TA, 0.5% Dirty Neutral Base, .025% M-Type (.8% of M-Type ejuice mixed at 3%, or one drop per 100 mL). Throat hit with a little flavor.
Inawera Virginia: decent flavor, but aftersmell is of cat pee. Lots of it. Their Cavendish is not what you're asking for, good but lots of flavors, but also has this problem. I think a lot of their regular line probably does.
FlavourArt 7 Leaves, Virginia: like leaf without any smoke, floral, very good but maybe not what you expect. The 7 Leaves is more complex of course.
TFA DK Tab: many like, tastes and smells like old shoes to me.
Capella: great brand, but doesn't seem to be for tobaccos
Hangsen: I had mixed feelings about their premix juices I tried, but very well regarded.

Is there a flavor I can buy to make just a plain tobacco tasting ejuice? Nothing fruity, nutty, or smokey. I've seen a couple different kinds at Bull City but have no idea which one will give just a plain tobacco taste with no other flavors combined. Suggestions?

There's a thread that discusses tobacco flavors in-depth, it's very informative Favorite tobacco flavoring discussion - Tobacco flavoring discussion only

For a synthetic tobacco DIY concentrate I'd suggest trying one of Hangsen's line, as recommended by dannyv45 in an earlier post the Hangsen "Red USA Mix" is just a plain cigarette style tobacco. Red USA Mix-HS

There are also several tobacco absolutes (TA) that add good tobacco flavor, I'd suggest trying Inawera's "Virginia absolute" Tobacco Absolute Virginia WG-INW

If you don't mind re-wicking/dry-burning after every tankful (or two) you might try mixing "real" tobacco flavor using a tobacco extract like this one Big Spirit Extract Pretty expensive for DIY but the good news is if you like the -true- flavor of NETs you can easily extract/make your own for less than $0.03 per ml...

Anyone tried RTS Vapes tobacco absolute?
If your liking a grassy vape, then RTS TA is great. I blend RTS with my hangsen highway or desert ship along with 1% acetyl pyrazine, this been my ADV for well over a year now.
INW Garuda is also a great RTS TA like vape, its also grassy but a but more bite. I build my mixes as larger standalones then blend then into each other so I always have changing tastes.
I use hangsen as a base also for the few non tobac vapes I enjoy, grape, cola, cotton candy are a few that don't do very well as standalones(8-15%) but great with a 5% DS or highway base.
I saw SC Cohiba back a few posts and its good too but 1.25% is all I can handle without the cohiba overpowering the tobac. Its a real sharp cigar that's a nice change to the back of the throat.
FA 7leaves is not bad but I have to build it at 12% then it just gets oversweet as it steeps but it has IMO floral-grassy tones to it.
INW Virginia is another not bad TA but it too gets oversweet as it steeps so 2.5% is all I can use in a blend.
I don't like the ashy, woodzy, stale or dirt tasting tobacco concentrates and I have quite a few of those on the shelf that will never be used. I spent my first 2 years of vaping trying to find a tobac I liked enough to rebuy. I got lucky with hangsen concentrates I guess since I have had HS Highway as a commercial juice and liked it so give the concentrate a try. This last year and half of DIY hangsen tobacs has been great and RTS TA has been a big part of it.
