So, after reading tons here and abroad, I've formulated a plan. Just want to check my math/assumptions with you good folks.

Gingerbread Test Alpha

Goal: 10 ml 50/50 @30 mg.

Recipe

100% PG Nic Base @60mg---------5 ml
VG Cut--------------------------------4 ml
Gingerbread Flavor (PG base)------1 ml
Sucralose 5% (VG base)------------0.1 ml

Procedure

Measure out the ingredients into a Erlenmeyer flask, cork it, and put it on the magnetic stir for a few hours. Test, wait, test, wait ,test.

The plan for making the sweetener is to make a ~5% solution by adding 1/8 tsp of pure sucralose powder to 10ml of VG. For using it, me and the "e-juice Me Up" program seem to agree that 0.1ml is ~2drops.

The working assumption is that if this works, I can just X3 the quantities to make 30ml batches. I just picked 10 ml as a test qty for easy math.

I know this all seems like a big "Well duh!" thing to the vets around here, but I'm a little paranoid about stuff like this, so any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

The math adds up. You nailed it.

I prefer to give new batches a soak in hot water. I pull it out and shake the hell out of it it a few times (that's what she said) as it cools.

Some recipes will require a steep that can range from a couple days to a month or more. tobacco and bakery flavors generally benefit from a steep, whereas most fruit flavors are good to vape straight away. Some taste like the inside of an ... if you stick your hand into the cookie jar too soon but will transform into something blissful over time.

I'm second guessing my sucralose formula.

I wanted to use my new bag of pure sucralsoe to make some "liquid splenda" solution for coffee and tea where 1drop=~1tsp. I started out with 1/8 tsp per 30 mil and that was not even detectable at 1 drop per cup of water (taste-spit-rinse)

I bumped it by 1/4 tsp and I could taste it, but only just. I kept bumping until I got to a whole teaspoon, and that seemed just about perfect. I then poured a mug of coffee (1.5 cups) and added two drops of my solution and it came out spot-on.

So, for "liquid splenda" add 1 tsp. powder to 30 ml water. This seems like ~ 1 drop = 1tsp.

Next question is... If I want to make a 30 mil bottle of VG based vape sweetener, Is 1 tsp. about right?

I'm quickly learning that a lot of this is "Trial and Error," and I really haven't even started yet. :)
