I made a 10ml test batch of Gingerbread/Pecan. Mostly because the good folks at WL tossed in a small vial of pecan with my order.

I mixed it 5% with 5% gingerbread and WAY TOO MUCH sucralose sweetener; I used 10 drops where two would have been plenty and it's next to unvapable.

Now I'm conflicted. Do I add another 10-20 ml unsweetened and see if it cuts the sweet enough, or do I toss out the whole batch and mark it up for lessons learned.

Decisions decisions.

Rule of thumb is to start with small percentages and work your way up. With that said if you add 80% unflavored base you just cut that mix to 1% + 1%+ 2% but now have 50 ml of juice to play with. So do the math and determine if you really want 50mls of juice to adjust. My advice is start over.

You could just take 1 ml of the too sweet juice, or even half a ml, and dilute that to see if its worth it (you don't have to dilute the entire amount that's left).

That's the way I attempt to correct any mistakes. Cost much less to try and save a mix. Also leaves plenty for other options/attempts.

However, if it smells and taste like baby powder - TOSS IT - no amount of different flavors will change it.

I am still not sure HOW you manage baby powder?

Somewhere out there
I would try taking 1 ml of your too sweet mix and add 2 mls of plain base, see what you get. If it needs more dilution add another 1 ml of plain base. That way you will know if you can salvage it and you are not wasting a bunch of supplies while figuring that out :) Good luck! bnrk

Easy - any espresso or capuccino mixed with Coffee Clear then add any amount of Sweet cream.
Tried several combinations and every one produced Baby Powder.
Stand alone they do not seem to react with sweet cream.

If its the VZ coffee super concentrate (the clear stuff) your talking about I've mixed 3 batches with VZ's SC cream, TFA's hazelnut and TFA's deluce de leache and got decent results. Is it the fact that you also used espresso or cappuccino?

All flavors were TFA, but YES the combination of Base coffee type flavors causes the chemical reaction. As said, each seems to work oh its own with Sweet Cream Flavoring. Unfortunately not had a taste I cared for.

Not giving up hope. I know some of these venders have to be using the same Flavorings, just have to figure out the correct mixes.

Also working with Capella Cappuccino but it has a cheese note I am having issue with. Maybe an Italian thing?
