Hi,
My journey has been like yours though I got to stand on your shoulders and so started out with a reasonably satisfying set-up.
For this my thanks as it brought the market to supply me with eGo 650mah with CE5/T2 Clearomizers tanks. Those managed, along with 36mg e-juice to actually satisfy my addiction. I know right? Amazing!
I am a complete Noob to this so forgive me if I bother you all for no reason but...I have discovered, too late to save two tanks and four tips and our lungs(?) from the EVIL of flavors that ate the plastic Clearomizers and out gassed into us.
What is up with all that?
Those flavors can't be safe can they?
So I am getting down in the weeds here as to all this but I mean I have been reading Material Data of flavors and so on but have noticed that there is virtually NO testing available for flavors that get burned by a laser. The assumption seems to be if it is rated as generally food safe then its safe for Vaping too.
That assumption is going to end up with some VERY BAD results and a lot of folks making money selling and reselling e-juice are going to feel really bad about what happens to people.
This forum has enough users that if we ALL started a campaign to get industry to do the research going forward it would happen.
Equally important is the need to have LABELS NOW that clearly state something like:
THIS FLAVOR CONTAINS ____insert solvent that eats polycarbonate here __
AND WILL EAT PLASTIC CAUSING IT TO OUTGAS INTO YOUR LUNGS. USE GLASS OR METAL TANKS ONLY.
Those labels should be on the bottles and ON THE WEB PAGE in color and BIG.
Your thoughts?
