PMMA Plastic?

Am looking to buy a new take. The one I am looking at says the tank is made out of PMMA[h=1]Poly(methyl methacrylate)[/h] plastic. I am concerned that the cinnamon flavors I use will cause problems with this plastic. I know that polycarbonate plastic does not hold up to those type of flavors. I need some help or advice from anyone that has used or knows about the PMMA tanks, please.

From what I've read, PMMA is more resistant to tank-cracking flavorings than polycarbonate plastic. But it can be etched (frosted) and possibly break down over time if exposed to these flavors. Some of these flavors have a stronger reaction than others. Red hot cinnamon is the worst offender.

Polypropylene is resistant, but not often used because it has a natural frosted/opaque appearance. Pyrex glass is the better solution to tank crackers.

Some types of plastics are going to be more resistant to some chemical flavors than others, but how do you really know what you got till it actually gets damaged visibly.

Actually, the last glass tank I had that broke, I found myself wondering if it really was glass or some other newfangled concoction that strongly resembles glass because the structure at the breakpoint seemed to me to be odd; definitely not regular glass that shatters.
