Just wondering who uses only plastic tanks, only glass tanks, or alternates.

I should be getting my Mini Protank 2 v2 in the mail today (pyrex tank), but I also have an EVOD 2 (which is polycarbonate). I'm not sure myself if I should just save my EVOD 2 clearomizers for emergencies or long travel and such and use my protank otherwise, or if I should alternate. I'm a little afraid of accidentally breaking the glass while I'm out and about, and I also don't like that polycarbonate probably has BPA in it.

All mine are Pyrex...all have sleeves to protect them as well so I don't worry about breakage.

In fact, I have accidentally punted my Nova-S tanks more often than one would think and even after bouncing one off a boulder in my backyard, none have broken or failed in any way.

My main tank these days is a Smoktech RSBT which is also glass surrounded by stainless.

I'd much rather have my juices in glass than plastic of any kind...just because ;)

I've been sticking mostly to glass. I find some flavors really difficult to get out of polycarbonate. That, and while I'm not using any tank cracker juices now, I did accidentally put some in a polycarbonate tank, and the result is really not pretty.

Oh, and I'm a complete butterfingers. I have nerve damage in my hands and started vaping because I can no longer hold onto a cigarette. (Talk about a health risk!) I'm forever dropping mine and in over a year have only broken the glass in one mini protank. They're tougher than you would think.

So far, I am only using glass. Agree with the tougher than you think aspect. Granted, I would not like dropping an AeroTank on a concrete floor, but by in large Pyrex is really a tough customer.

So far as well, I have not really used any tank cracking flavors. I use some tobacco flavors, some chocolate flavors, had an interesting DIY mix of butterscotch & peanut butter and of course, Hawk Sauce. Not really had a craving, urge to try cinnamon or citric type flavors ... yet.

If I do, using the glass tanks will prove useful. Since I am already in the habit of that, no big problem. "Rinse and clean tank, fill tank with whatever flavor, vape on."

I also figure the plastic/polycarbonate tanks would bleed over the plastic flavor, or residual flavors. Glass doesn't seem to have any of those sort of issues, ever. Granted, yes, I use plastic containers for the juices. That is a matter of shipping/handling convenience.

Wouldn't Hawk Sauce be a tank cracker? It's kinda sour/blueberry/fruity?

I have been all glass tanks up until yesterday, when I got my Orchid. Now I'm looking online for a Kayfun replacement kit that'll fit my Orchid. (If anyone has any suggestions/experience with this..)

I wanted to go the glass route for several reasons. It just seems like it would be more pure and safe. Instead I've fallen in love with polypropylene tanks - it's the frosted plastic that isn't going to crack with certain juices, and it holds up well when your spinner decides to live up to its namesake and spins itself off the side of the table. I love my smoktech tumblers :) I know there are glass options to suit my needs, but at my current budget, the tumblers are great.
