I'm in vaping heaven. 4-5 tucks and I can't take another vape for 1/2 an hour.
I had to enlarge the tip & bubble screw holes; but now the feed rate is just right. Also, added some little washers under them to make the pool of juice deeper.

I dropped back on the resistance of the coil by going from Nichrome to Kanthal (still 26 gauge). 0.5 was asking too much of the wick; 0.7Ω is just right. And I wrapped a "W" coil so the legs come out on the same side for better coil positioning.

Mainly, tho, I re-designed my wick shape and size to maximize performance and airflow. Still have one leg going in the bath and some strands sneaking under the coil; but now the coil is slanted and the short end of the wick goes up (backup juice). The main wick leg is just long enough to rest its tips in my topside platform pool.

and here it is when I pop off the cap after vaping a bit (and tipping or dripping)
View attachment 188179 JUICY!
Dripping it still vapes better than tipping it (something about that juice in a tank . . . . anyone?); but I can still take it "to go".
OK. That's it. I can't see any more need for improvement, so y'all probably won't have to put up with these posts anymore. Thanks for letting me share (It does make it more fun!)
