doctor just called with my blood test results, Lymes disease, again

So sorry to hear that {{{Yas}}}...hopefully it's shown up in early stages...

Ugh! Is Lyme Disease something that once you have it, it recurs? Like mono? Maybe you just need to quit playing with ticks? {{huggles}} bleh

It can be cured if caught soon enough, if not....there's some pretty serious consequences that can develop.

When I was living in NJ...scratched the back of my neck at what felt like a tiny little scab....when I saw what it was...put it in a jar and went screaming to my doc...had an injection immediately to prevent it developing.....

Ms. P., Lymes stays in your bloodstream indefinitely. They were able to tell from my blood test that I had it before, but there was also a new infection. If it's not caught soon enough, some of the symptoms/damage can be permanent.

So with that said ... I'm off to go pick up my antibiotics
