Played REO Dominos for the last time today ..........

This morning I played another game of crashing mods ..... including a broken glass tank

Decided it was the last time ..........

Got off my duff and found some Ash - Cherry - and Poplar in the scrap wood bin.

This is as far as I'm going until it warms up and I can break it down for a finish (out in the garage)

Got some mahogany plugs for the screw holes to instal when its all done.

Its not a fine piece of art but its super functional and I love it.

BTW see how that last slot is too big for the mini ??????

Huh? Ya that mini is going to a friend at Christmas and that slot will fit a brand new woodvil just perfect

Ha, my wife asked the same thing ...... but it had a slightly hostile tone when she said it
Perhaps I should get her a few more Xmas gifts this year!

Decided to finish it off down in the basement the next day or two. I hate stain or poly smell in the basement because it gets in the laundry if we are doing any. Gonna have to take a two day break on washing cloths and knock it out.

I just took a piece of floor trim and drilled holes in it...I must say...I like your solution much better!

What is that REO that is 2nd from last in photo on right, next to the mini that you're re-homing? It's so nice and thin......
