Hey-o ECFers,

I finally got my first juice order in the mail today. It's from The Vapor Room. After waiting for them to arrive in the mail and opening up my package of awesomeness, I started to feel like I was having my own private X-Mas party! Sadly I read the instructions and it told me to let them sit and steep for 4-6 days. It's not like I'm out of juice, I also got a Volt Cappuccino bottle in the mail and that one was ready to go.

Sidenote: I refilled my first carto today and it was super easy! I'm glad I read the advice on how to do it properly around here. Works like a charm and I get to feel like a mad scientist with all these bottles! :D

So my question to y'all is, how long do you steep your juices once they arrive? Also, are you currently waiting on some particularly delicious juices to be ready like me?

Here's what I'm waiting to try: Ginger's RY4, Vanilla Cupcake, Strawberries & Cream and Waffle. It's like those tasty new flavors are staring at me and saying, "Open me! vape me! It'll be fine!" LOL Any yummy new flavors giving you guys the stink eye while you wait for them to be ready?

NINJA EDIT: I totally put "seep" instead of "steep" in the title!:oops:

I tend to let them steep according to the vendor's recommendations...I assume (falsely?) that they've had some experience with the particular juice, and have an idea what's best. Not all juices would need the same amount of steep time, it depends on the types of of the individual flavorings.

I've read on more than one occasion that folks will bring water to a near boil, or at least get it very warm, and put a bottle of juice into a cup of this hot water and wait until it cools, then shake it up quite well. I've not tried this yet, so can't vouch for it, but I've heard tell of it working!

Depending on the vendor, too, there may also be a 'Mixed on' date on the label itself, so base your steeping time from that date.

I find the more complex the flavor the longer it needs to steep. Tobacco needs the longest IMHO, most simple fruit flavors are good to go as soon as mixed. I DIY most of mine, so the born on date is whenever I mix it, and find steeping makes little difference in many flavors, if there's a large number of ingredients, steeping helps more.....YMMV

I ordered from there recently and started on my bottle of 555 as soon as I got it. The 3-4 days in the mail is long enough for me for most juices. I, too, ordered a bottle of Ginger's RY4 and it still doesn't taste all that great. It tastes way too much like Dekang RY4. The 555 was alright, though, and I'm working on my bottle of Apple Pie. It tastes like how a good scented candle smells, I would recommend it.

I just placed an order at BWB and I'm sure when it gets here I'll be fighting the urge to vape them right out of the box.

I am going through the same thing with my first order from BWB. I got the Malty Toffee, which everyone seems to love. I tried vaping it on the first day and all I thought was "Ewww!" It definitely has a "medicine" smell to it and there was hardly any flavor at all. It's so hard to just let it sit for a while, but I am sure I will be happy I did!!!! I just ordered for the first time today BWB's RY4, and I think that's another one people say to let steep. I wish there was a way to speed up the process!!! LOL

SaraBee, I second what Stosh said. Try your Waffle first, it's probably good to go. Give the RY4 a bit of time, it'll have at least 3 flavorings in it and will improve with ageing.

That's funny, I couldn't wait so I tried a couple of them. I really like the RY4 so if it improves with age, I'm going to be one happy vaper! :D I tried the waffle too, it's pretty good but it's very different from anything else I've tried so it might take some getting used to. I'm going to let the Vanilla Cupcake sit though. I gave it a good whiff and it's smells like a sugar factory exploded in my nose. Hopefully it'll set down over the week and won't vape like it currently smells. :p

The Strawberries & Cream tastes like medicine to me. It's my first fruit like flavor, so maybe it's just not going to be my thing. It was like $5 for 15mL on the weekender sale, so I don't regret giving it a try at least. I think my next purchase is going to be something of the nut variety. Sweets and fruit just don't seem to be my thing.

It depends on where you got your juice from. If it's Dekang, Volt, or any other juices from China then it can immediately be vaped from the package. Others would take about a week or two. Some from vendors like BWB that mix their juices fresh then it'll take about a month of steeping before it tastes great.

I just suckered myself into ordering some BWB juice. I figured I'd order one nic level down from what I have now and let it steep for a month after I get it. Then I should totally be ready for 12mg! At least, this is how I justified buying two more 30mL bottles. :p Besides, I hear that RY4 is really rare and delicious... Totally justifiable.

I'm sure your not going to be disappointed. There are a lot of fans on here that love BWB. All of the flavors are pretty mellow and if you like strong flavored juices then it might not be up to your standards.

Anyways, I really like the RY4 and have been savoring it for a little bit now. Also, ordered some Ejoker and Casablanca to try out. Heard some good things about those juices.
