Good high quality batteries arrived today and after a long 6 hour charge to top the 18650s off, I finally got to play with this thing ... I screwed on a Gimlet Giant 5 ml. dual coil 1.5 clearo and really love the instant ohm check and ohm readout ability. Decided to just mimic my current Itaste VTR settings and set the God for a frugal 15 watts and watched it switch to 5.5 volts ...
I'm a bit fuzzy about this whole 'variable voltage' they refer to when advertising the 180s ... it IS auto variable but not manually selectable like the Itaste VTR ... not that I mind as I was kind of impressed that it went to 5.5 volts because thats also the voltage that vapes best on the VTR when set at 15 watts.
I can only surmise that 'variable' voltage for the God simply means that your manual watts setting makes the God select the voltage for you ...and it doesn't seem to be able to be over ridden .
A safety thing perhaps ? Too new at this to be sure of anything right now.
Overall the God 180s is really kind of a reduntant and an overly ambitious offering because the cloud production at this simplest newbie type setting I selected will block your tv viewing enjoyment for up to 6 seconds lol ! .... Can't wait to see it on the 0.6 and 0.2 subohm Herakules I'm waiting on.
The utube reviewers do a nice job but I always marvel at how much simpler it is to have any unit right in your hands to realize screen settings are nowhere near as complicated as the utube reviewers seem to make them.
