I believe there are somewhere in this forum but please advise and pointed to me for my DYI experience.

First, I'm still new to DIY. Second, I think I like sweet taste (I think) I like caramel but not coffee... Love peach but definitely not cherry...

What sample pack I should have, how many flavors do I need at least for beginning, 10? 20 bottles? Also, please let me know the good supplier. Sorry it's too many to ask but I couldn't find a "starter kit" for newbies mostly 5 or 10 packs but you have to choose your flavor which I can't decide...

I've been try to DIY for about 4 weeks and almost gave up with. Most of my mix taste so bad or so thin, strange TH and dry. Sometime it seriously taste puke... My flavors are tobacco taste, FA Maxx-Blend, Cuban Supreme, Perique Black, Vienna Cream...

I usually PVed with Health Cabin 24mg RY4 (use VG to make it 18mg) and RY4 lover. However, my only sweet flavor is Cotton Candy. I need some advise what flavor I should buy.

Thank you!

Sure, no problem.

Go to E-Liquid Recipes and find a few recipes that sound tasty.

Check out the flavorings from those recipes here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/74109-guide-diy-flavoring.html

Read this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/1783-read-first.html and this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/52669-pg-vg-labeling-purity-please-read.html

Then order the flavorings for the recipes you picked and the other flavors on the site that you cannot live without. Wait for shipping. Then mix MUCH lighther than the recipes call for, since your post reads to me like you take a fairly light flavored premade, add more flavorless base, and enjoy that.

I strongly suspect that you are using too much flavoring for your tastes. (What's the term, Super Taster, Ultra Taster, Hyper Nose? Whatever it is, you may be one.)

Hoosier, what a fast reply!!

Hmm... I am not sure about that. My first DIY was menthol and oooooops! I was so wrong to add too much, since then I only try one drop for tester or 1-2% if I try more. Sometime it's too dry. But hey, I guess it all depend on what kind of flavor I use.

I will start exactly what you described here but if you know any "general purpose" sample pack it will be great (if there is such a thing...)

Thank you so much!

It will all depend on your personal tastes really. When you get into complex flavors, meaning adding a bunch of different flavors, you may want what seems to be everyone's favorite flavor of all ECF DIY time. This one seems to be the staple:

Vanilla Custard "NEW" - e juice gourmet flavored coffee e liquid tea flavor e cigarette water flavoring Diet & Fitness Baking & Desserts

I personally add whatever flavor compliments what I have mixed if a mix is off. A starter kit on flavors, no such thing except the one you want. Hoosier has directed you well, as he always does! ;)

Just want to put in my 2c worth - as good as that vanilla custard smelled at first, after a couple of days vaping it I couldn't take any more. My son lasted two weeks before it grew "bad" for him.

And when I say bad, I mean I still shudder just thinking about it.

I'm not trying to dissuade you, just keep in mind that your taste may be different and may change!

Here & There
I didn't like the Flavour Art tobacco's either even after serious steeping and yes I tried all different percentages. Some of their smells just turned me off immediately too. You might want to concentrate on other flavors for now like simple one and two ingredient sweet flavors. I DIY sweet stuff or fruits and still buy my favorite tobacco juice from two vendors.

Perique Black is very very strong at least to me. I couldn't use that one.

I recommend FlavorWest Tobaccos for a weaker but more palatable tobacco essence base and less offensive smells if you really must have tobacco imitiating flavors in your arsenal.

Thank you for suggestions!!

>>Str8V8ping
I cheked your STR-8 it looks very interesting. I put those flavors in my shopping list except BWB RY4.

>>GoodDog
Good to know! So I should start with small amount, add more if I like it.

>>shilohcalista
I agree. Perique Black have strong smells and it smells everywhere in my drawer when I open. I look at your list of flavors and all those are already in my list. I guess we both have same sense of flavors :)

Okay... I think I bought little bit too much but I ordered about $60 from One Stop DIY Shop. Now I need to find a place to store.
