Hi all!

Noobs Mark & Ashley here. Started vaping about a month ago and have learned alot from the folks on this forum. Thanks for the info everyone! I'd say more than 90% of our vaping knowledge & experience came from here! This site rocks!

Anyway...

We started out with the Smokestik (now known to us as the 4081, thanks again all!) & yes, we know we paid WAY too much for it...Bought it online like 2 days before I discovered this site (DOH!) Just sent them back today & I have to say that our cust experience with them was excellent. They tried to make everything right & correspondence with them was very painless. In the end, we had alot of trouble with the sampler carts (many arrived in a "dry" state & were unusable). Got replacements twice and those were always hit or miss as well. My atty died after day 2 of vaping (DOH AGAIN!) but Ash's has worked fine for the better part of a month now. The company sent me another atty and it worked fine up until we sent it all back earlier today. I just wasn't impressed with the overall reliability of the units and carts for the amount of dough we paid...among other things...

Oh and yeah, 1 cart=1 pack of analogs? Ya right! Our experience was more like 5-6 analogs per cart tops! This is what ...... me off the most I think! Companies like SE and Smokestik could advertise a bit more truthfully I think! I could go on and on...but I won't, as I've read similar rants here & elsewhere just like ours & will try not to beat this one down any further...

...But I do have to share 1 experience though:

We frequent a big flea mkt in Ft Myers and recently started seeing SE booths. Naturally, being the inquisitive souls that we are, we talk to the sales peeps there, check out their stuff, get pricing, etc and I gotta say that they have routinely fed us lies and misinformation! I'm not even sure if their aware that they're selling the same model ecig as Smokestik, yet they will defend their position of superiority with every last fiber of their being, even to the point of being argumentative, rude, loud, and just overall ignorant...WTF? I guess it just goes to show - if there's something to be sold there will be BS that will be told...

We will continue using this model though, thanks to the WEALTH of info we received from here. We'll just be using it ALOT more economically (also thanks to this site & the fine folks on it)...Right now we're thinking a couple (must cheaper cost) 4081 kits & a 510 kit for home. Liking the interchangability of the 4081/103 stuff & that 103 atty sure looks intriguing to me!

So like, thanks again all...

& Happy Vaping!

Mark & Ash

Howdy Mark and Ashley!

Port Charlotte, Wow! I was raised in Ft. Myers and frequented the flea market that those scammers reside at. It's a good place for a deal but every other stall is a gimmick or a rip off, but isn't that the story for all flea markets?

So! Give me some news from home! I haven't been to that area in around... well since... oh jeeze 2002? (ish). Man, I need to touch base back home some time. Is the water still clear and the roads jam-packed with blue-haired ladies barely able to see over the steering wheel? Old men still mowing their lawns in neon speedos? Ahhh, I miss Florida! Neon orange grasshoppers the size of hotdogs, palmetto bugs (aka big flying roaches), clouds of mosquitoes, hurricanes... brings a tear to my eye, and "no" I am not being sarcastic I actually miss those things, LOL. Along with all the good things, pickable fruit from every other tree, manatees, porpoises, fishing for tarpon/largemouth bass/grouper/snook, REAL key lime pie and pork sandwiches. SW Florida rocks.

Glad to see you have found ecigs, regardless of the difficulties encountered with sales folk. You may end up trying some others too. IMHO, the most important thing is to find a model you are happy with, so that you can actually have a better alternative to burning tobacco.

As for the cranky nature of the sales rep, perhaps you should give him a break...he is likely to be REALLY amped up on nicotine!! Hazard of the trade, no doubt.

Explore, learn and enjoy this new cleaner world!
