So I should be in the ranges of like 17-30 because I have a 1.3
It's such a small difference it doesn't really matter.

1. Prime the coil by putting 4-5 drops directly into the coil head (and a drop or two into each of the holes on the side of the coil).
2. Fill and assemble the tank.
3. Turn your wattage/voltage down low.
4. Take a few unpowered puffs to make sure the coils are well primed.
5. Then start vaping. Slowly raise the wattage or voltage until you find a setting that works well.
6. If you start to feel that your wicks are not feeding the juice fast enough (i.e. dry hits) turn it down a notch or two.

Raquesh, the recommended wattages are just that: recommendations. They aren't cast in concrete. The reason folks are suggesting you start low and increase wattage little by little is because every juice has a "sweet spot" for every vaper. You may find that you like your 1.2 OCC at 12 watts or 14 watts for a particular juice. And that's great! With a lower ohm coil (say, .5ohms), you will want higher wattage. Again, though, work your way up, bit by bit. Enjoy!

What would be the max you would recommend on a 1.3? And what should I be running on a 0.7 and a 0.5?

Knowing the ohm of a coil does not tell you what wattage it should run at.

You should start low and gradually go up.
If you go too high you end up burning something.
If you go up high enough, but then you chain vape constantly, you can end up in a situation where the coil can handle it, but the wicking can't keep up with you so the coil gets dry and ....... you burn something.

So start low and gradually move up.

as with anything start low and crank it till it feels good. I went from a Kangertech with an Aspire BDC tank so mouth hitting like an alalog just starting out then went out and got a Sigeilli 150 with an Aspire Atlantis and after checking out a few youtube videos thinking 45 was were Id start out, I about blew a lung trying to start out full lung hitting so backed it down to 20 and worked up to 35-45 range depending on the volatility of the juice and of course Nicotine level.
