Simple enough question but i cannot find the answer anywhere on the internet.

Please can someone tell me if the kanger BPDC heads are compatible with the subtank mini or can you only use the OCC heads on them.

It will make the difference between buying the subtank mini or the original subtank.

Also you could help me with this choice of subtank vs subtank mini as i'm really really stuck lol :)

Thank you.

I am not sure about coils but i sell OCC for them, subohm tank is 25mm and mini is 22, also the design of the mini is way better. less parts, but less juice

Only OCC coils or the included RBA in subtanks.

I have all 3 here. 25mm original subtank is great. Awesome capacity, really well made... a quality piece of gear. But it's huge. You will need a mod to suit the width. Vaping this tank is a pleasure though. RBA is not as easy to work with as the mini but works well if you like doing that. I don't like changing the top cap to use the RBA but otherwise it's the caddy of the 3.

Mini... perfect size to carry but goes through the juice very quickly (for me anyway) Taste is....yum. RBA is really nice to re-coil, easy. Wicking is finicky but ok once you get it. You don't have to change the top cap to use the RBA. Easy to fill. Easy to clean. Just a nice tank!

Nano... super stealthy. You won't believe the vapor it makes from that small size.
edit. The nano kinda "feels" less quality in your hand. It probably isn't but I'm spoiled by the other two. It functions nicely though. Also easy to clean and fill.

Welcome to the forum jangomania.

The subtank, subtank mini and nano all take the same coil heads. These are the OCC heads and are not compatible with any other Kanger product. No other genuine Kanger heads will fit in these tanks either (but there are other companies coming out with coil heads that will)

The main difference between the original subtank and the mini are in the size and capacity.

The subtank is 25mm and holds a max of 6ml (4.2ml with RTA), and the mini is 22mm and holds around 4.5ml. I am not sure what the capacity is with the RTA section in it.

The only other difference is you do not need to change out the top section of the subtank mini if you want to switch to the RTA section like you do with the original subtank.

I have the subtank - it's a beast. Big, heavy and it still overlaps the edges of my mod and I am using it on a Sigelei 100w. On a 22mm tube it looks awkward (even with the included transition or beauty ring) and on my iStick, it just looks bizarre.

Phil Busardo did a pretty good review of the mini and nano in the review below. He also did a similar review for the subtank you can find on his youtube page. Worth a look if you are unsure which one to get.

Starts about 6.30 in...
