One of the worst things to do is overfill and try to vape it back to normal. For instance, if you hold up the carto to some light and you can clearly see through it, then you haven't flooded it. If you can't see into it, that means it's flooded. Very gently blow out the excess juice. If you try to vape the excess it could easily over-do the carto, and it won't vape right. This is just from my own experience, since I just had to toss out two cartos because I tried to vape through the flooded carto.

I've never used a syringe to fill them. A much easier way is to just directly drip onto the filler. I fill my cartos by taking off the soft cap of my cartos. I hold them at a 45º angle and drip 2 drops, then turn it. After about 12 drops, I let it soak up a bit, then I do it again. Once it's nice and "slushy" on the top, it's good to go. I have a carto of Peach from Vaporbomb (very thin liquid; thick liquid and cartos don't mix all that well) that's on two weeks and still doing pretty well. I'm on about a week with my Arctic Ice and Strawberry cartos as well. :) You'll get the hang of it, even if it's a PITA.

My cartos are from: LiteCigUSA, Liberty-Flights, or from sweet-vapes.com(only when I make a juice order, though).
lol this might be another reason i kill my carto's.. i usually over fill em n let em sit overnight then grab em in the morning real quick before work then just try n vape out any excess maybe flow it out if it's really bad

After syringe filling, and being sure I can see through the center, I let the carto sit for at the very least an hour to allow the liquid to fully saturate it's "innards". Don't chain vape, give the carto time to re-wick every couple of hits. Hope this helps a little. (Also, don't forget to top off early and often.) :)

thanks.. i really don't know what to do in this situation. probably will have to end up finding a different system, because the boge lr has been way too much work for me. i have to clean 4-5 cartos each day, and i've already dumped about 6 in 2 weeks.

i had an ego-t that came with a tank, and that was even worse.. couldn't even get any taste. not sure if that's the way to go, either.

One of the worst things to do is overfill and try to vape it back to normal.

This seems like the OP's problem, I did this once, I used a syringe too. a bit too much and it was clogged, boiled them out and let dry... still seemed clogged, so I tossed it.

Maybe the coil was so gunked it ruined it, but boiling it for 2- 5min sessions didn't help.

I'd fill 1ml tops, maybe .75 of a ml to be safe and then just top off as needed.

EDIT, just thought of something too...

Vendors seem to over state how much fluid these hold, which can be bad. I have the Ego dual coils which suppose to hold 5ml's!! No way I can get 5ml's in there without it running out the bottom. I put 3.5 at most and it starts to drip out. At that point while the fluid is loose I blow the juice out til its clean through the air tubes and not gurgly. Then let it sit for about an hour +
