I can not believe the hard time that I am having with my chargers. I have a mod 808-D. Wall charger with USB adapter.
2 Chargers from 2 different places and none wil charge my batteries! Wall charger part and USB (stick in not screw in battery type) . One will have green light on wall adapter and green light on USB connector if I jiggle it just right. Which I would think is normal but the battery will not charge at all. I can also jiggle it and make both lights red which I would think would not be right. I have not tried charging with both lights red.

The other the light on the wall adaptor stays red no matter what but the USB stays blue and the battery will not charge at all on this one.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I know that it must be me!
Thanks

The red light is an indication that the battery isn't fully charged, and is now charging. The lights are supposed to be red when it's charging.

The push-in chargers are a bit fidgety. Jiggle them until both lights are red, and just wait. USB will turn blue when it's done, although it may look like the blue and red light are both on at the same time. This is fine. When you see blue, it's done.

Thanks. I will try that. I called Ron at VK today and he said that charger should be blue while charging. Maybe I misunderstood him because that is not working. I will try it with both red.

Really? Mine are both red, and they charge just fine.

It may depend on what kind of charger you get. There are push-in's and screw-in's. My push-in has a red light while charging.

Should USB also be red while plugged in to USB connection on computer? It is also blue but I will try to make it red. This is crazy.

Yup. Solid red.

The push-in ones are definitely a bit tricky to get right. And you may even find that certain batteries need to be jiggled in certain ways. It's a pain, but that's how they're makin' 'em these days.

I gave my charger to my dad when I got a PCC and I can't say I miss that thing. :)

OK. The one that I got from Ron is defective. The USB adaptor stays blue even when the battery is not in it. I can't make it turn red.
I bet the one that I got from Jason will work fine now that both lights are red.
Thank you!

It's supposed to be blue when it's plugged in with no battery.

Give it another try. It took me a while to figure it out. I had one battery in particular that took me 2 or 3 charges to figure out exactly how it likes to be put in there.

If the blue flashing is quick, short, and only once every few seconds, that's fine. Mine does that too.

It's a complete pain in the @#$%, I know. If I hadn't given mine to my father, I'd be looking for a screw-in one, because the push-in's are just a pain.

Have a look online for those, or a universal one. I'm not sure where you'd find one honestly.
