please help LT 3.0 question

just got my new vector LT vaporbeast. i had a cartomizer with a driptip on and i overfilled it with liquid while it was on the batter. it started to drip down the side but i immedialy took it off and wiped every off and blew thru the cartomizer. everything is still working fine, i just want to know if liquid COULD seep into the tube and potentially ruin it. i am extremely .... about my batteries and basically everything, and i have never made such a stupid mistake. this is also the first time i have dripped into a carto with a driptip on it, while connected to the battery. i dont think ill do that again

It happens, don't worry about it, the 510 connector is sealed so just wipe any juice out of that. As long as juice didn't get in any of the openings, button area etc, you're fine.

Get a drip shield tp prevent this. Also, user fewer drops of juice on your addy. I did the same thing on my LT. Doesnt seem to have hurt anything.

By the way, the Vector Variable Volt from VaporBeast is not version 3.0. Differing version numbers have caused much confusion about newer Lavatubes (or Vtubes, the more generic name) on ECF, but it's not really our fault. The problem originates with having multiple manufacturers for the Vtube, which sometimes use contradictory version numbers. Anyway, your Vector VV (I own one of those also) is a version 1.5t Vtube from Young June. At least, that's what we know today.

my mistake, i did not read the manuel it came with. it is version 2.0 . i can check the resistance of atty/cartos, and amp limit is 4.0

Sorry to inform you but the amp limit is not 4.0, I think I read that its like 3.5 or something...

im just going by what the instructions that came with it say. it says there is a 4.0 amp limit. i also tested this with a dc tank at 6v. tasted super burnt, but it still was capable

You are ASOLUTELY 100% CORRECT that it is 1.5 T! The 1.5 T has a 3.2 amp switch! It is NOT the Version 2.0!

Yes, Errol was the poster who used an oscilloscope to come up with the 2.88 amp limit. I'm not sure what averaging method he used for the PWM, however. A better assessment (meaning, probably more accurate) of the Vtube v1.5t's design and power implementation is found in the first post of the thread linked below, which explains why the v1.5t performs so well:
