I just cannot find a setup that I am happy with...

I started out with Blu l88b. The Blu's were fine for a couple of weeks. They did get me off the analogs so it's hard to knock em.
Next I went to V4L kr808d. Again, these did great for awhile. However, eventually I wanted more like I guess we all do. More batt life. More POWER muwahaha... and a cheaper model.
Next step was a Riva. These did fine but it's just not convinient to have to buy enough to always have a charged batt. Also, 3.7v always seemed like just not quite enough.
Next step... mod of course! Though I'm not entirely sure why they are called mods when they are manufactured specifically for what they are. It's not a modification of anything but whatever. I got my current device, a mini Lrider or Lava Tube or whatever you wanna call it. I do like the device. Ilike that I can buy plenty of batts cheap and always have one charged. I like the Vary Volt feature. My plan was to do tanks because I get sick of having to top off the Boge cartos all day long. Little did I know this thing was going to have such a rediculous amp limit. Double coils are out of the question on it.
I've also had problems with cartos burning up pretty quick and tasting bad. I'm thinking maybe this is because I am vaping Vaperite VR4 all day and I have read recently that the organic tobaco it hard on cartos. But it just Sooooooo yummy!

So where I am at sitting here tonight is at least a year into my journey and TONS of money spent and still searching. I KNOW I'm not the Lone Ranger and everyone seems to go through this. My question is where does everyone end up??? When will I find what I need??? Anyway, I have some single coil tank cartos in the mail. 2 hole of course because I had to spend about 20 bucks to figure out that one hole wasn't enough and three was too many. Obviously... Seems like 20 bucks is the bare minimum each new piece of info I learn costs me. And I am ONCE AGAIN looking for a new juice that is at least half as good as VapeRite VR4 but easy on cartos. Trying some other VapeRite flavors and a couple from Heather's Heavenly Vapes. Yep searching for a new all day juice again *sigh* It simply never ends.

What I want? Not much actually. I want LOTS of vapor which I can usually get just by buying juice with more vg. I want easy! I don't want to have to top off cartos all day. I don't want ce2's that have to be taken apart and modified to work. Another expensive lesson there. You know... "easy" Fill it up each night maybe would be fine.

I know I'm rambling...

So erm... Does anybody have any idea where the insanity ends?!?!?

The Insanity Ended for me when I got a VVPV and put a Mod-ed CE2 on it.

I know you have a Bad Time with CE2's. We All Did. But this Mod did away with the Inner Seals and made Filling it a Snap with a Dropper Bottle.

I felt the same way recently... i was on 808s and constantly changing bats and buying juice. Here is my solution atm:

1) Moved to Ego Twists. 2 VV bats

2) Going into Vivi Nova 2.5 and now the mini. Good stuff. Just buy replacement heads and clean.

3) DIY. Wizards Labs+Capellas. Was frustrated cause Ce2 Vivis muted my flavors, just got some stronger DIY flavors from Capella.

That's it for me for some time. If somethign BETTER comes around I'll try it. But with vv twists, DIY for $35 that I was paying $120 for and the Vivi 2.5/mini set up I'm pretty happy now.

GL to you!

I second the twist and vivi ..my journey is similar but I am finally happy with my set up and juice. The vivi nova and mini are so easy. Check out gotvapes website. They have videos that show all about them and a forum full of help. I hear they have good juice too. I can't use it cause I vape vg. All my juice now comes from highbrow. The best I have had in over a year.

I love the vivi. Very easy to use and cost effective going forward. You just buy new heads. I have 6 that I am rotating. Every couple days I change the head and throw the used one in vodka to soak overnight. Let dry and dry burn. Ready to go again. I just ordered a mini and will definitely be getting more of both. Don't forget to check out highbrow for juice...in my opinion this guy is an artist with juice and he welcomes you to customize how you want.

Speaking from 3 yrs experience, the insanity never ends. This industry is so new that rarely a month passes that something new and improved is released. That can be bad or good depending on your view. It has crossed the line with me that vaping is a hobby and I enjoy trying new things.

At the moment my set up is 2 provaris. One runs a 3ohm Boge xl carto in a DCC tank. I use a dremel to slot the cartos with. My second Provari is ran with a ViVi Nova version 2.5 with the longer wicks. And lastly I have a Twist that uses a pheonix bottomcoil clear carto. I am sure that in a few months time my setups will upgrade to the next thing thats better and more improved. Thats just how things are in the vaping world.

It seems like there is no simple answer here. An old saying comes to mind, "what's good for the goose, isn't good for the gander", that being said, no two people are alike as far as vaping goes. One person may love to use "gas station" e-cigs, while another may find using a PV the size of a computer desktop case with 30 gallons of e-juice hooked to a carto the size of a 2 liter soda bottle suits their vaping style. Although, most people fall someplace in between this wide range, you just have to keep on trying to find what works for you. For instance, my wife and I are very similar about our vaping. We both started on the "gas station" e-cig, then we both moved up to an eGo-c. We soon got CE4's after, and this is where we differ, while I am quite content with my eGo-c with a CE4 setup, she now wants the eGo-T 1000 mAh mod battery with the CE4. She is wanting to "step up" her vaping style.

Another difference is our taste in e-juice. She likes the coffee and tobacco flavors, while I like the fruit flavors. Another difference is she vapes at 24 nic while I am at 16 nic, and I will be dropping down to probably 8 while she may stay where she's at or she may drop her nic level as well. I soon want to be at 0 nic, while she may stay at some kind of nic level. See? We are all different with our vaping styles, and that's just two people. You just have to be patient and you will find what works. One person may say, "hey, CE4's are the best" while another will say, "hey, CE4's are awful". I could tell you right now, that an eGo-c with a CE4 is the best vape in the world. Now, would you try that and agree with me? Maybe, maybe not. You have to decide that for yourself.

The insanity ended for me about three years ago when I started dripping.

Now I never have to worry about whether or not my juice delivery system will work right or not.
My setup is very basic, and very easy to use, with no fuss and no muss.

For those that think dripping is too much of a hassle, there are bottom feeders like the Reo.

or they can continue thinking that constantly fiddling is less of a hassle than dripping...

Try to keep it simple. Get a couple of ego twists with some kind of a tank. Vivi or the kanger T2 clearos I think are much better than the stardusts (or whatever they call them). When u find a good combo then think about a better vv device. I use a lavatube at home but out and about its a twist and a tank or T2 clearo. Works great for me.

Try the Volt X2 1300mha batteries with either the XL Cartomizers or the VOLT X2 Clearomizers either setup with the 1300 mha Battery will get you through a few days before recharging the battery or refilling even if you chain Vape. The best part is Smokless Image has a 30 day return policy if you don't like it but trust me you will like it! there are also plenty of coupon codes for 15-20% off. I just went through the same thing and the X2 setup easily keeps my old 2 pack a day habit in check. PM me if you want to talk about coupon codes... :vapor::vapor:

I've always said I'm too lazy to drip and that's true. But I made this new juice last week and.....I've been dripping it on a Provari ever since.

I can't drive and drip, and my carto tanks are good for that, and I make my own juice so I can compensate for the flavor drop easily. I've been blessed with not having a ton of problems with carto tanks, from what I've read here, but.... After I win a current bet (the bet is with another mod collector that says I can't buy anything new until Dec 1 or he owes me a mod) I'm going to hope Rob is well and latch on to a VV Reo Grand. I have never used a bottom feeder but it looks like a good driving solution and it looks easy to carry about. I like it that it has an off on switch. So I'll have to learn to Squonk.

I'm assuming most use a regular dripping atty on top from looking at the size of the drip well. All things work out I'm getting an early Christmas present for myself ;)
