When I started vaping I was afraid to try tobacco juice thinking it would make me want an analog more. I have been vaping 18mg which has worked fine. The past couple of weeks I have felt more of an urge but just vaped more. Admittingly I have had more stress. My daughter had some 24mg tobacco flavor that I have tried and like. I have been vaping this more the past few days than my regular juice. I plan to purchase more of this juice but am wondering if I should get 18mg or 24mg? I know you can't answer that for me so I guess I am wondering if anyone has had an experience like this? I really don't want to up my nic if I don't need to but I am thinking it might be better. I am feeling real confused about what I should do. The stress is likely to continue the next few weeks. I definitely want to stay off analogs!

If you like the flavor and the 24mg level of nicotine helps better with your craving for a cigarette, buy a BIG bottle of it....:) The higher level is not a problem, it's what your body seems to be asking for, that's the easy way to find your level - listen to your body.

Don't worry about the tobacco flavor, the longer you don't smoke, the more your sense of taste will return. The damage from smoking will heal and your taste in most everything will change. You'll also be able to smell better, both with your nose and to other people...

don't worry about the nic, you don't NEED to be in a lower dose right now, if you liked the 24 get that if it works great! if it is too much dilute it , you could probably get a 18 and a 24 so you can play with it.

+1...

I agree 100%. Don't be in too much of a rush to get your nic down, this isn't a race. You will know when you're ready.
I suggest doing what vapero says and get a couple of different levels and mix if you want to experiment, use the 24 when you NEED it.

I'd agree that buying the 24mg is the way to go if that is what you feel is satisfying the cravings for you. Some people on these boards started at 24 and have stayed there - others have gone to 0 nic, but there is no typical vaper or typical experience. At the end of the day it's what works for you and your need at the moment. Vaping 24mg is like a billion percent better than smoking right?

If you buy a big bottle of 24mg and then decide you want to reduce the nic, you can always buy a bottle of VG from a local pharmacy and cut your juice a little to reduce the nic content. Yes, it will also dilute the flavor slightly, but it's a choice.

I’ve had the same problem too lately. More stress = more nicotine craving. Oddly, I didn’t crave a cigarette but I did think about them, lol. I found an old bottle of 24mg and used some of that. Helped tremendously. Several weeks later I’m still using a bit of it here and there but as the stress eases so does the craving for it. It’s just a bump in the road and beats the heck out of smoking a cigarette. Sort of like having an extra cup of coffee on a day when you need that extra boost. Hope your stressful situation passes quickly. :)

I was in the same predicament and was using 24mg but was vaping more than I used to smoke and started getting headaches so I got a 6mg bottle and mixed the to until I was satisfied but once in a while would just use the 24mg if I needed the extra kick in the pants until I worked my way down to 18mg. Just experiment until you find what is right for you.

Just to echo what everyone else has said here, nicotine level isn't an issue, as long as it's not making you light headed and satisfying your craving it's fine.

Don't feel obligated to drop the level quickly, vaping is more about satisfying your need than making you quit nicotine altogether so don't push yourself to drop until you feel able to handle it.

You guys are awesome!! I know you are right and I will get the 24mg without worry. I did previously purchase one bottle of 24mg just in case I needed it but have never used it. I thought the 18mg would be enough but all it takes is a bit of stress to see maybe not. I will likely vape forever so it doesn't matter what nic level I am at. If I stay off analogs I will be happy! I almost feel like the tobacco flavor is a treat and may like it too much. I did love my smokes which is why it is a bit scary. Many thanks to you all!
