There are a lot of good glass tank clearos. If you ensure that the heads you are buying are genuine (from the manufacturer and not knockoffs) you will get good service from the Aspire Nautilus or Kanger Aerotank Mega. Make sure the vendor states they are genuine.

The Aspire Nautilus produces great flavor as does the Kanger Aerotank Mega. The Nautilus officially holds 5ml of juice. If you fill it to the top of the air tube it holds about 6ml. The Kanger Aerotank Mega holds 3.8ml and you can push it to 4ml. Both have adjustable air flow rings in the base that let you adjust the pull from tight to free flowing air across the coil. This helps you adjust the juice feed rate and the proper atomization of a particular juice.

If you like a thinner tank, try the Kanger Evod. It has a polycarbonate tank that is supposed to be crack resistant with most juices.

just dont run cherry limade through the evod, it doesnt like that juice:(

I have a poly tank EVOD2. It handles the tobac juices with menthol addy just fine. I cracked my poly with a black cherry 50/50 juice. So, I bought two EVOD2 GLASS TANK cartos. Much better and no cracking!

Hello ncolwell,

I realize I am a bit late to the conversation but I also noticed you haven't posted a made decision yet either, plus this could be helpful to future readers. With so many great options in the glass/pyrex clearomizer world, it is really hard to go wrong with any choice when upgrading from plastic to glass.

Plastic should be avoided at all costs, especially things you touch or come into contact with. Plastic products release unhealthy chemicals into the blood stream including a chemical that is like the female sex hormone estrogen, even more so when the plastic starts breaking down. While I could write a whole college level essay on that subject, I will simply leave my comment at that for this post. With the final comment of, putting anything plastic to your lips is detrimental to your health, period.

Now as for a good choice for your husband's MVP 2, everything really comes down to personal preference, as with everything in the world of vaping, lol. The good news is that any tank on the market will be compatible with your husbands MVP 2. Tanks/clearomizers with replaceable coils these days are divided into two basic categories, single coil or dual coil. I have tried both but prefer the Kanger or Smok 1.8ohm single coils above anything else I have tried, they taste great and they are inexpensive when compared to a lot of other coils on the market. Since your whole setup seems to be made by Innokin, an obvious recommendation would be to try the Innokin iClear X.I Pyrex Glass Dual Coil Clearomizer, I personally haven't tried it because I think the price for the replacement coils is outrageous. On that note, I own and have tried over twenty various tanks, I have tried every single tank Kanger has, except for their plastic ones of course and I have to admit that I do really enjoy the Aerotank series, they are really great clearomizers. For portability, I would say go with the Aerotank Mini but keep in mind that all of the Aerotank's are dual coil. If your looking for a great single coil option, my two best recommendations are going to be either the Smok Aro II or the Anyvape Mini Davide. I own over thirty tanks and the one I use most often is the Smok Aro II, especially when I am out and about, surprisingly enough in it's favor, it is the absolute cheapest tank I own, lol go figure. It is a very simple two piece design much like your iClear 16 with one very important factor, it's not plastic, lol. Honestly I can't say enough positive things about the Smok Aro II, it has really blown me away and made me question the purchase of some of the $40+ tanks I own.

So my number one recommendation to you for you and your husband is the Smok Aro II for a single coil glass tank. I own five of them, lol!

SmokTech Pyrex Aro BCC Tank

Also, I personally haven't tried the Smoktech HBC, the reviews I read on it at Madvapes.com were mixed, half seem to love it while the other half seemed to complain about excessive leaking. For the price though, it certainly doesn't seem like a bad choice to at least give it a shot and see if it works for you. The large capacity certainly is appealing enough to give it a shot, lol. On a positive note, if you don't like the HBC, the coils you bought for it will also work in the Smok Aro II I recommended to you! =)

The tax farm known as USA.
After trying several{but I am fairly new to all of this} I really like my kanger aerotank and mini aerotank. The pro-tank II's not so much=metal taste.
I have the new aspire mini on the way!

yeah im getting a juice altering taste from my pt2 mini even after washing with soap, are the areos stainless and not plated brass?

Yes, the aerotank and mini aero are stainless. MUCH better IMO. In fact I don't even want the PTII's any more. I have a friend that might want to try vaping. I might hook her up with a set up so she can see if she likes it. In just a few short weeks I have climbed the ladder from junk kgo batteries and the PTII's to an MVP 2.0 and my mini and aerotanks...:2cool:

Yes, Kanger definitely up'd their game in starting to use “Food Grade Stainless Steel” in their newer products. I own the entire series of the Aerotank line and I am more than impressed with them, for a dual coil changeable coil system, IMO it is absolutely the only way to go, I love my Aerotanks. Though I must admit I am somewhat curious about the new Anyvape Peakomizer, it's top filling, has adjustable airflow and accepts multiple styles and brands of coils due to some spring action they have going on in the base. A new game changer in my opinion but I currently have enough tanks to last me for the rest of my life, lol so I really can't justify getting one to try it our or recommend it yet. I don't know if it is food grade but it is made out of stainless steel. I imagine Kanger will come out with something similar soon as it seems they put out a new tank every couple of months or so, lol. I really love my Anyvape Davide's, I have the King and the Mini versions and they come with an adapter piece that can be added to or removed from the base piece that allows you to use single or dual coils but I have since come to prefer my Aerotank's over the Davide's simply for the adjustable airflow control. The only things I don't like about my Davide's is that they are a plated metal and they don't offer an adjustable airflow option. I am sure it's really nothing to complain about but I personally think that stainless steel is the only way to go these days and I am really excited to start seeing “Food Grade Stainless Steel” becoming a new standard.

Shenzhen Anyvape Technology Limited | Peakomizer

The only potential drawback I can see it that the airholes are drilled into the bottom of the base, I can see that airflow getting blocked depending on what kind of battery and or beauty ring you are using.
