Please help me choose e-liquid

Hi everyone. I'm new to the virgin vapor liquid line and would like your opinion on choosing some juices (of course I can read the reviews but it doesn't answer my questions). I am mostly concerned with throat hit (former smoker so I like a strong throat hit), color of juice (dark to medium seems to clog my setups and ruins my wick, so I like a lighter colored juice), and of course taste. I will be ordering the 12 mg, maybe 8 if 12 is unavailable, and will be doing a 50pg/50vg ratio. As always taste is subject. So here are the juices i'm interested in:

Singing the Blues

French Vanilla
Vanilla Mint

Watermellon
