I've been enjoying vapor for 5 months now, having accumulated and settled on Vivi Nova and V-Fate tanks as my favorites. I have 3 Innokin ITaste VV batteries that I rotate so I never "run out". The life cycles of a the charged batteries are slowly decreasing and I'm sure in time, these will need replacement. That being said I have narrowed down my replacement choices to two. Spending more than 90-100 dollars is not an option. I am the first to say "you get what you pay for" but unfortunately my vape budget is in recession.

I cannot decide what to get for myself. Unless something breaks, this is my last device purchase for a long time so I want it to be a really smart choice. I'm looking for experienced opinions on these or other choices you know of. If there is a previous post that covers this let me know! Thanks!

Innokin MVP 2.0
Functions the same as what I know but lasts longer
Price is right
No need to purchase separate batteries or charger.
Sensible choice but seems boring as it lacks a new experience.

Vamo V5
New toy!
Power when I need it
Looks cool
Battery/Size options are interesting but not a must have for me.
Not sure I want to deal with a separate charger.
All of the starter kits I am finding online come with a good list of batteries to choose from (I would like an 18350 and an 18650), an acceptable choice of chargers to choose from (I like the Turbo charger that charges both size batteries). For the asking prices I would expect in the kit a tank worthy of the mod. I cannot find one. They either do not come with it at all, or its the cheapest clearo available. tanks that caught my eye are Aspire Nautilus , Kanger Aerotank or just stick with my Novas.

Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your opinions and guidance!

So I have a itaste vv vw, an mvp2. a VTR and an evic. I like the evic because it shows ohms, vv/vw, battery life all in one screen and is software upgradeable. Pricier than you want though. My opinion is go MVP2 and the Nautilus. I think the topper makes a bigger difference than the battery. And I love a box mod because it is so much more stable than the tubes. Seems I'm always knocking the evic over!

Both are fine choices, and it really boils down to what form is best for you. If you are going to continue using clearos, either one of those would be just fine performance wise, with the nod going to the VAMO should you begin to start re-building.

Have you considered a VTR? The prices are coming down, it used an 18650 battery, variable volts from 3-6 volts and variable wattage 3-15 watts. The SVD is also a tube type mod, same as the VAMO, it will accept (2)18350 or 18650 or 18500 or 18490 batteries. It also comes with 2 excellent IClear 30 clearomizers.

Great advice and I agree, the topper makes the difference. I'm not too worried about knocking it over because I have no intention on putting it down. :vapor:

Itaste MVP2 IMO is a must have, I have larger, nicer mods but I carry a MVP2 as my backup or when I want to vape and not be as bold about it holding a larger mod. Being I've only been vaping a month and a half and went cold turkey on cigarettes I keep an MVP2.0 with me at all times as a backup, especially at work or in the car. I'm afraid if I can't vape due to a mod not having a charge, atomizer, or I run out of juice I'll wheel into the nearest gas station and buy a pack of smokes and light up.

I am still looking for my cigarette pack and lighter every now and then in my pocket or on the car seat.

I'm sort of addicted to this pretty bad. In the month and a half I've been vaping I have picked up a Itsate VTR, 2 Itaste MVP2.0's, ITaste 134 full size, and a XGun Wood Mod, 2 EGO Twists. I have 3 Iclear 30S tanks, 3 Kanger Aero Tanks, 4 Protanks, and some Smok Stainless/Glass tanks for the EGO's. Then went on a juice spree and have about 20 different bottles/flavors from several shops.

Was smoking ultralights previous, and now am on 3mg Nic on the juice. Chain vaping like a .... tho. I have noticed huge difference quitting smoking... MY LUNGS! I breath easier when under physical extertion/exercise and at night, no more smoke stains on my hands, my skin looks younger, and no more yellow goop in my mouth when scraping my tongue after brushing my teeth in the morning.

I've watched others on Youtube a zillion times and started to believe I needed to have enough vapor to block out the sun. I have since reformed myself and my vapor production is satisfying! I did look at the VTR but wasn't thoroughly impressed for the price at the time. I did look at the SVD and I'll look at it again. THANKS!

Vamo V5 ..., I own 2 of them and vape them daily, one for protanks, and carto's and one for backup, you simply cannot beat the Vamo V5 for the price. Anything rebuildable goes straight to my nemesis, not that the vamo cannot hadle it, but because all of these APV's mentioned have a 1.3-1.5ohm cut-off and I rebuild loooowwwwwer than that.
Hope this helps! :toast:

The VTR is HEAVY but great for office/computer desk around the house. Not something I really want to carry on the road with me... Same goes for the 134 which I feel is overpriced. MVP is the best bang for the buck and for carrying around, drop it scratch it up and then just cover it with a J-Wrap!

I also have my treasured XGun. Not the most durable but works perfect and love the wood feel and even found matching wood tips for it!

Holy Ships in the Sea, that is a serious collection! If I hadn't purchased a new truck with my cigg money I would have as much too! I am a serious chain vapor as well and I know what you are saying about smoking. I started each day with a good vomit.

Best bang for your buck is by far MVP2. It may look big in photos, but its about the size of a box style cigarette pack. So its pretty portable, durable and performs great for like $40 smackers shipped. Cant go wrong :)

I agree with you Creepy and by the way, Salem ROCKS! I'm originally from the Cape but went to the Salem area a lot....have a good one! :)

Yep, I'm so happy to FINALLY have found something that SO easily replaced cigarettes. I LOVED smoking, sorry, a good cigarette with coffee, beer, after hard work... just lounging... yeah... But the health effects are not good and I have needed to quit for a long time. The transition to Vaping was instant, got an MVP2, vaped on it tossed the pack of smokes in the trash can haven't had one in 1.5 months! (I still look for them and my lighter on occaision in my pocket or seat of the car).

Vaping, Mods, E-Juice flavors, tanks, discussions the whole experience of going to vape shops and bars... just plain awesome...

I couldn't agree with you more Rob. As with you I smoked a lot, to the point of breathing like a accordion, choking and coughing. Even avoiding social functions because of the coughing and smell being embarrassing. I vape like crazy but I recently took a lung capacity test for work along with 5 other non smokers. I not only passed but scored second best out of us 6 people, 4 of which FAILED!!!! I vape a lot but that will pass in time so I'm not too worried about it. I've messed with making my own liquids and narrowed it down to my own personaly favorite 4 flavors and that's it!!

The only real problem with the MVP is it too becomes a throw away after 300-500 charge cycles. For that reason alone I feel that the sooner a person switches to replacable battery systems the better off they are.

Type "worlds most dangerous battery" into your search engine, and see what comes up. The MVP uses a LiPo cell. Even with the MVP's great safety features, it's still a LiPo battery.
I like being able to choose to use 'safe chemesty' (LiMn) IMR batteries in my PV's.
