The only real problem with the MVP is it too becomes a throw away after 300-500 charge cycles. For that reason alone I feel that the sooner a person switches to replacable battery systems the better off they are.

Type "worlds most dangerous battery" into your search engine, and see what comes up. The MVP uses a LiPo cell. Even with the MVP's great safety features, it's still a LiPo battery.
I like being able to choose to use 'safe chemesty' (LiMn) IMR batteries in my PV's.

I had my heart set on the MVP but I have to say this is something I must consider for sure.....excellent excellent advice. I may just go with the....what is it.....IMR battery in the Vamo?

It depends on how you look at it. Lets assume you only get the 300 charge cycles (you'll have that with the IMR's also) that would be apprx 900 days (almost 2 1/2 years) and at $40 cost that would only be about .044 a day to own a MVP. not bad IMO. :)

All batteries have to be replaced in around the same number of cycles. The MVP should last 1 or 2 years. I agree it's a shame to throw the whole thing out, but financially what have you lost? If you use something with replaceable batteries, you need 2 of them and will have to replace them around the same time. Cost is really not much different and with the MVP and you don't have to lug a spare around with you.

It all depends on where you want to take your vape. Do you feel an rba, re-buildable atomizer, is in your future? Are you continually trying ways to improve your vape? Is Vape a life choice for you?

When I look at new vape gear, I look for something to expand and enhance my modest collection. I try to make purchase that will last me a lifetime. Investing in my future vape. Sometimes I'll see something from a limited run, and put it in the category of, if ever available, must buy.

If you have maximized the potential of your current battery device, might want to think of getting something that allows maximum growth. If looking for a regulated mod, my recommendation would be to get something with a minimum of 15 watts output. There are several 20-30 watt capable regulated mods out now that you might want to consider.

Best thing to do is look at everything that interests you, look for a quality device, then focus on what best suits your needs and inclination.

I can see that the LiPo battery failing dangerously in an application like a remote controlled car with high draining motors, but an atomizer draining 4v? What do you think TJ?

With the exception of a direct short (which the MVP protects against). Most battery failures happen when charging, not when being used. This is WHY there is such a thing as a "Lipo bag".

This product wouldn't even exist if there wasn't a problem.

Look at all the ego type battery failures that have been in the news this past year, they all happened when being charged.

For me anyway, if I can't choose the type of battery I'll use in the PV .... I don't want it.

My 3 iTaste VV's span between charges is beginning to decline so instead of waiting I'm going to replace them, but just one, not 3. My vapor is satisfactory so I do not need more vapor, just a device that will last a bit longer between charges. I'm not ready to join the rebuild communtiy (yet) :)

There is no denying the facts. I will simply stay away from LiPo until Innokin remakes the device. I am hard of hearing so I would not hear a failure during an overnight charge, so the MVP is definately a no go, so, it's Vamo for now.

I wouldn't recommend an overnight charge with any battery. ;)
