Hello, I'm new to vaping. I currently have a halo triton and mvp 2, and as for tanks all I have now is a Kanger Aerotank (broke my protank mini :().

I'm really looking for a mod that's going to give me that wow factor that I haven't got yet. It's not that what I have hasn't been good enough for what I need, but now I want something to really blow me away. I've been looking at the joyetech evic, because tube mods interest me, but also the vtr has been highly raved. I've seen some side by side reviews of the two, I just can't tell for myself which one is better suited for me, or if I'm looking in the wrong place and something else I haven't seen yet would be better. I already have a box mod with the mvp, so I was thinking I could maybe try out a tube mod, I don't know, and that's the point of this thread, because honestly I don't know.

If anyone could chime in and suggest some mods that maybe would work well for me, that'd be really great. I'm new, and don't really know which direction I'm headed, I just need some advice. I know usually you're not supposed to say get this and get this and get this, but here I really am looking for someone like that to tell me what would be good for me and what wouldn't, because my knowledge is far lesser than anyones here.

If I'm not answering questions that I should be answering, feel free to post and ask and I will respond quickly.

Your MVP is a good device, I'm thinking your problem with the "wow factor" is your tanks.
The only thing I use now are rebuildable devices, so I can't really reccomend any clearos, but when I got tired of clearos I switched to cartos and carto tanks. You might want to try a boge carto setup with a tank, it cheaper than a new mod and is a logical next step in your vaping evolution.
You can also look into rebuildable attys. I reccomend some caution and some research first but, after a little learning curve, rebuildables offer the best vape in my opinion.

Good luck, the vape you want is out there!

For me, what really blew me away, was rbas - then a mech mod with a sub ohm rba. My vv/vw mods were and still are great, but when I need WOW, it's all about rbas and mechs. But you have to do your research on safety. You can't just pick it up and vape like you can with more basic vaping gear.

Thank you for that.

Awesome. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks to both of you, I think I will begin researching into rbas in the near future! I will also check out boge cartomizers and such to see what my next step is. Thank you again!

A good tank is what you need. If you don't want to do your own coils then get an Aspire Nautilus. One of the best tanks out there and will blow away Kanger tanks. The Aspire dual coils are also very good. And if you want to try your hand at coils the Aspire heads are big enough to easily rebuild coils. If you do just try a single micro coil with cotton. you'll be amazed.

If you are looking for a nice tube APV then the SVD is great price. I love mine and see no need to spend a lot of cash on a Pravari.

Your MVP with a Nautilus would be great.

Ah thank you for this! I have heard that before so I think in the meantime before I get to rbas I'll pick one of those up.

I have an evic, VTR and a Provari amungst others. I would skip the evic, my least used device by far. Provari's are great but for the price you can prob find something to satisfy for less. If you already have an MVP2, it is pretty comparable to the VTR with obvious exceptions. I love my VTR with a iclear 30b tank. The Nautilus is an exceptional tank to top it with too (MVP) although I've found the factory coil heads to be a bit hit and miss. My Kanger Aero tank has been performing quite well too. Hated Protanks until I got the Aero. Am going to get the air flow adapter for my protank as soon as I can find one in stock. Lots of choices out there so good luck in your search for the perfect vape!

Works out perfect for me! Just bought an aspire nautilus online and have been using an aero tank currently. I really like them so far.

Would you suggest getting another device now, or waiting for nautilus to see if I like it better with that?
