I'm hit and miss with BVC coils on my Aspire ET-S and 30w istick. Now I'm at work, and each hit completely fills the space between the battery and tank. Between last night and today, I've ...... away 10ml of juice and now I need to hit the store for a pack of smokes because I'm out of juice. Not that it matters, the coil can't hold anything.

Also, I've disassembled and re-assembled the tank with this coil, 4 times already, completely cleaning .

I also understand that nobody accommodates mouth to lung vapors', well except for kayfun at $200+ for a tank.

this is what happens when you leave product design to a community of neck-beards who are only interested in giant clouds. Unfortunately, this isn't play time, and some folks try to rely on these products to make positive changes in their lives.

Most B&M's will still carry the eGo type attys for beginners. Those ET-S tanks are less than $10. You should be able to find them anywhere. And Kayfun clones are less than $20. You don't have to buy authentic to get a quality topper. Look for Tobeco or Svoe Moesto KF clones. They are both decent brands. For now, when you aren't using it, remove the tank and turn it upside down and don't fill it more than halfway up. It will keep the fluid from leaking.

have you tried the nautilus tank? seems to be a pretty reliable go-to for MTL vapers... also the Kanger subtank has a 1.2 ohm and a 1.5 ohm coil that work well for MTL vaping according to many (including my wife) and you can dial down the air flow...

some of us like clouds AND flavor AND have used these products to make positive changes in our lives - myself included - good luck

The Aspire Nautilus is solid. It was the first piece of gear I actually enjoyed. It's a MTL tank and you will get much more vapor with each draw. You can pick them up for around $20 these days. Cheaper online. And they will work on your eGo battery. You will just need to recharge a lil more often. That ET-S you have is decent for a beginner, but they really don't last very long. They are just a half step above a disposable.

When the head (coil & wick assembly) goes bad sometimes they leak, a lot, try changing to a new head, be sure to prime it before mashing the fire button.
Could be there is an o ring damaged or missing, most likely it is caused by a bad head.
That's why they're replaceable.

The Nautilus is a good step up from the et-s & has adjustable airflow that can be made restrictive or airy and still provide a very good vape.

This is my "foundation" setup that works even when it seems like Hell just froze over.

A simple cartomizer in a tank sitting on top of a reliable PV.

Even if I'm messing with some crazy new RDA, or fancy new mod, I always have that "tried & true" - "never fail" setup right at my elbow.

Last batch of cartomizers I bought cost 37c ea, and depending on the juice you use they will last about a month.

Thank you! Does the nautilus recommendation include the mini?

The mini is actually the best one for flavor. I started with the Nautilus tanks, they are very good and very reliable. I would not hesitate to upgrade to one ASAP. It WILL keep you off the smokes.

What your advice is about? OP asks how to go down in juice consumption.
Anyway, to advice a mech mod to novice is not advisable.

Tracey was suggesting maybe it was time to investigate moving up in the vaping world, not over advising a newbee..... And your advice was?...........

I'm good with a nautilus, and I'm ready to move up. Thank you!

Yes, I am interested in an RTA as well.

    Budget authentics for m2l vapors:

UD Aga t5 for $10 at Triangle Vape. Very nicely machined and made with easy build. Its tall and kind of ugly, but its really not taller than a kayfun 4; it just appears to be. You really can't go wrong with this one :). It even came prebuilt I think.

Original Lemo or Lemo Drop. You can find them for $20 now. They have a reputation as a cloud chucker, but the air can be closed all the way down to zero so its not true. Nice big build deck. Fantastic flavor. I've been using mine for 10 months and will never sell it.

HCigar HC Plus. $20 from Froginfog. You can't buy it in the US, which is a shame because this is an extremely well made RTA. Wicking is not quite as easy as the other two, but I would help you. There don't seem to be any videos out there in English, or that you can see easily what the builder is doing (I've checked). One or two airholes.

Focloud. $30 from VaporDNA. Build quality is not the best, but the flavor sure is. Single or dual coil, one or two airholes.

As for clones: kayfun 4, Taifun GT2 (very easy build and fill), Ataman II (just got this clone, and I have an authentic), Eviva-t clone is also now available (I have 2 authentics and love this atty), Erlkonigin.

I liked the Kanger subtank, especially with entry level coil building and reliable premade coil. But I was totally talked out of it with comments of being too much airflow and inadequate for MTL'ers.
I can do lung hits or MTL with my subtank. It was the first tank that made me think I could stop looking. Maybe you should try one yourself (if you haven't). It does go through juice. Might be time to consider DIY, because then juice cost becomes almost meaningless (the cost is in a search for the perfect flavor, but that is another story).
