Please help me get started

Hi ECF,

Just your friendly neighborhood lampshade here. I've been lurking for a while as I've recently started smoking after quitting for years and the cravings I've been having are terrible with all of the stress from work. I can't let myself continue smoking so I want to get a vaporizer setup ASAP.

I've been trying to figure out exactly what I need if I want to piece together my own vaporizer and as far as I could understand I need a battery, atomizer, and tank. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I've been looking at the following parts off fasttech:
EGO-VV 1100mAh Rechargeable Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery with 0.7" LCD

Splash Anodized Glass Carto tank Kit (6.0mL)

KWX10 Protank E-Cigarette Atomizer (2.8mL)

Vivi Nova 7 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (3.5mL)

Do I need all of these parts to start vaping? If not please recommend some...

I'm also consider purchasing this liquid for my first:

Hi and welcome to ECF. I always go for the highest mah I can get and 1300 from Ft is pretty good. Roughly 100mah=1hr vape time so the more mah the longer u can go without charging. I haven't tried the 15/1600mah ones yet as they are new. I tend to go with spinners from FT. I use rebuildables so can't help on the topper.

Hello Lampshade and welcome to ecf.

You will need a battery, some sort of atty/tank system and ejuice. Seems you have listed some good choices. Shop around a little for the same items on different sites to gauge fair pricing.

Ejuice is very subjective, so order in small quantities until you find some you like.

I would start looking for hardware (ie battery , attty/tank system) at discount vapers. google for their addy. They are in the US and FT is china. Shipping can make a difference in where you wish to shop and how fast you wish to receive your items.

Hi Lampshade and Welcome. I would suggest an MVP v2 and maybe Kanger Mega Aero Tank as a topper. The MP is a box mod with a 2600mAh internal battery. Should last a good day or two without having to charge it. Plus you can vape on it while it charges and if you need to say charge your phone it will do that too! Search the web and I'm sure you can get one for around $39 bucks. Check out 101vape and 88evape I think they're the cheapest. The Kanger Mega holds I think 3.5mls and is made of glass so you won't have to worry about e-juices that crack plastic tanks. It is in my opinion the best clearomizer on the market right now. Just my Good Luck!

If you pick a tank system,,it includes all parts needed. i.e. it has the atty included. So, you need 4 parts to vape....
battery
some sort of heating element. ie. atty AND/OR
something to hold the juice ie. tank system or some sort of filler like the carto(which has both the atty and filler together.
and the juice.
these days most of the attys are in combo with the filler and/or tank system.

Just starting out I would suggest a starter kit of some type. Usually it includes just about everything you need but juice. You can find it cheaper but sometimes new people just aren't up to that.

If it says tank kit then yes it does.

With something like this the carto has the atomizer inside it. You will need multiple cartos as they wear out fairly often depending on how you vape. You tube is very informative just search for what you want.

That is quite subjective. Some cartos are bad and you never know until you get them and try. Most all of this is chancey. What you are looking at is called a carto tank. Some cartos work well but this is the hidden link. If things are banned where are you going to buy cartos.
