I recently purchased a sigelei vv/vw mod it has zmax marked on the box but mine has 3 brass buttons and is stainless steel. It has two small buttons to the left and right of the screen and a larger fire button on the back side. All the zmax's I can find appear to only have one fire button directly underneath the screen. The manuals also say to press the button 5 times to turn on/off and 3 times to access the menu but I press mine 3 times for on/off and cannot access a menu other than locking it and changing the watts from 3.0-15.0 using the side buttons. It performs rather well but I'd like to know what model it is.

So it looks like this? I have no experience with that model. You could contact the seller and inform that you received the wrong item and would like to have the unit exchanged. Or you keep keep it since the site I got that pic from is in the UK and it is either a harder to find item or a not very popular item but either way a bit more unique.

The shop told me it was a zmax and gave me a quick rundown of how to use it but I'm pretty sure they mentioned something about switching it between 2 different modes among other things I can't recall now. I was in a rush and they were having a vape meet so they were pretty busy.

So you bought it at a b&m? I was assuming you bought it online. I would now be a bit skeptical about their knowledge of products but that is another matter. If you don't mind my asking what you paid for the zmax was? The site I found that one on had it listed for 99 Euros, not sure if that price is competitive or not as I don't see much on the device either.

Yeah I did. I payed about $85.00 for it, but they were having a sale on everything due to the vape meet so I'm not sure what it would have been without the discount.

Look's like a good mod. If it is working well for you and it keeps you off of smokes then you got a hell of a deal.

It's also pretty unique, looks cool.

Enjoy!

Great Mod!
Nothing extra - counters puffs, bits, stopwatch etc. Easy insists using three buttons - no chance to knock settings! Kinda, this AK-74! Brass buttons, without fail! Precise fittings! At the bottom of the spring-loaded lid contactor does not take off, pressed plastic!
In general I am satisfied!

So far it's working great! I don't think I'm gonna return it unless something drastic happens and I do like the way it looks compared to other sigelei's. I appreciate the all the help! Now can anyone help me figure out what to do as far as getting better performance out of my tank or the mod itself? Also just some general do's and don'ts or advice from any of you veterans? This is the first mod I've had and I don't want to do anything to shorten its lifespan because I'm not looking forward to having to buy another one anytime soon. Lol

I use Kanger's when I go to a tank. The are pretty good. If you can figure out how to get to the menu it should tell you what ohm the coil is you using now.

I've been searching for a manual and found one online store in the states that sells them for $99. It says that it's adjustable voltage(3-6v) and wattage(3-15w) as well as the ability to show the atomizer’s resistance and battery voltage
