I have bought the vanilla copper mod by Mountain. But...my mech mod fires sometimes and then it doesn't. Somehow my mech won't fire 100% like it used too. I would have to press three or four times but usually closer to the edge. My bottom button gets hot sometimes but I chain vape so I guess it's okay? And sometimes my coil doesn't even glow and my vanilla mod gets hot both the tube and the firing button but no shorts...I checked. So I'm confused.
- I cleaned the contacts and brushed them really good, no dirt or anything
- I readjusted and fixed everything and tried to loosen the battery and also tight
- I also adjusted the throw of the of the bottom button contacts
- My batteries are okay
HOWEVER...My coils I have been using then for awhile now in my Brass Monkee rda.
Someone please help....I researched everywhere and no one has answers for me.
1. Do coils eventually die down and not perform well?
2. Do any of you had problems with the firing mechanism of he mech mod where you tilt it at an angle or have to press twice or three times or press closer to the edge

Three words I can't refuse!
I don't own one of these clones, so I'm not sure if it's an issue with the clone itself. It's possible your coils are just wrapped poorly and take a while to heat up, or maybe you have a short somewhere.

To answer your questions, yes they eventually die out. You can extend the life of your coils through dry burning and quenching, though make sure it's only the coils you do this with. You may want to rewick them every few days or less depending on how often you're vaping.

Your second question is usually the result of a faulty switch.
