Please help me with my SS mesh wicking issues!

Hey everybody. I got an AGI and built a tight 500 mesh wick. 3 wraps with 32g kanthal on my provari at around 4v. When it gets some juice it works great... when it gets juice. I've tried tilting it and leaving the fill screw out. I can leave it on it's side, wick down for 10 minutes, pick it up and get 1 good hit before it's dry. What am I doing wrong? Is a solid, tight wick better? Or a straw wick? Ugh. I'm lost...

How much mesh is in your wick? (how wide a swath did you roll). How tight is it in the wick hole? (shouldn't be)

OH, and did you wash mesh before? Torch? Give us all the details you can think of.

Sounds like the wick is too snug in the hole.
