Please help me!

I just received a 510-T and am having major issues refilling the cartridges.

I followed the instructions and have now tried two methods of refilling. 1) Syringe and 2) removing the cap and dropping the liquid in.

The liquid leaks out of where the battery connects to the atomizer. Also no liquid stays in the cartridge so when you have put liquid in it looks as though it empty because all the liquid had leaked out.

Has this happened to anyone and does anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Please help!

Thanks in advance

:p

buy yourself some 2.0 cartomizers or a 2.0 ohm 306 atty. You'll get better vapor production and better flavor (especially with a 306). I have found those ego tanks to severely mute flavors and they don't produce nearly enough vapor imho. Plus they are a hassle as it appears you are regretfully finding out.

Yes I've tried three carts and it's happening with all of them.

Do you have a 510T? Can you tell me when you put the liquid what should it look like? I've even watched many Utube vids to see if im doing it correctly.

I have an ego T, it never leaked like you are describing. When you put liquid in it the cart looks full of liquid, it should not leak out even when turning it upside down. I'd say there is a problem with your atty, have you got a spare? And when you fill the cart, try filling it half way instead of full to see if it still leaks.

I purchased it from www........... because I wanted a pink automatic one. It came directly from China and I am actually talking to them now about the problem. they barely speak English and have no idea what i'm trying to say to them.

I can return it within 30days for a refund, however, they want me to pay postage and I can't return the eliquids I purchased!!!!! I am live chatting with them and it takes about 10-15mins for each reply. SO CRANKY!!!

You can keep the batteries you have, unless the liquid has now reuined them? And just get some cartomizers, any 510 size ones will fit on your batteries. HealthCabin is where i get all my stuff from, Greenhouseone is good too, if you want a whole new kit there are some Australian vendors like Vapebar which are good and Juicewhore also.

I managed to get some liquid to stay in one cartridge and now I think the batteries and atomizers are ruined :( I have one silver battery and one pink attomizer that I havent used yet so im charging now to see if the filled cartridge works. If not I am starting a paypal claim to ask for a refund.

I will check out the websites you gave.

THANKS HEAPS :)

I have heard of them, just had a look at the 510's and i am 90% sure they are knock offs, however that is not always a bad thing, some of the copies are still going to do what they are supposed to, they are just way overpriced for what they are and should be sold much cheaper than the genuine made ones. It sounds like you are having a very frustrating time with the tank system, i just hope you don't give up on ecigs, definatly try out someting different. It sucks how you have to pay for postage to get a refund, hopefully paypal can sort something out for you.

Thanks CCC! Like I say I got one to work and I am loving it! I am just going to ask that they replace the two attomisers, two batteries and 5 cartridges for free.
I tried the attomisers that didn't work yesterday with the battery and the cartridge I managed to fill and the two atomisers actually melted the cartridge so I know they are either faulty or now damaged from the leaking liquid.

THanks again!

My first was a 510-T and it came with soft-plastic tanks rather than cartridges. I had the same problem although not quite as severe. I ended up cutting a strip of an analog filter and stuffing it into the tank and plugging the end with two plugs rather than one. It helped enough so I could use it although I still kept a folded paper towel wrapped around the connection. It got me through until my order of hard plastic cartridges arrived.

I soon switched over to cartomizers and that's what I continue to use even on the upgrade I recently purchased. You'll have little to no leaking with the right carto or even the right cart. The 510-T is a great starter PV . . . and mine is not a genuine JoyeTech, either.

Soooo sorry you've had to go through this. I remember the frustration far too well. Best wishes and congrats on making the switch!! Hang in there!!!!!

Snapping it down tight is definitely a must-do, but if the plastic is soft, don't twist. The cap will pop right off.
Here's what I was referring to between the soft tank carts that came with my kit versus the hard carts I ended up using with no problems as long as I didn't overfill.

Again . . . wishing you the best!!
