idk why but whenever i tighten the screws on my nimbus xl clone it shorts. if the screws are loose its fine, but i cant vape like that! please help. has this ever happened to anyone

What resistance are your coils and how low does the resistance go when they short?
make sure that when tightening the screws the coil isnt being pulled against anything metal like the deck, other parts of the post besides the wire holes, or even the side walls
im aiming for a .2 ohm dual coil. and im not sure when i tighten the screws the ohm meter just spazzes out
What ohm meter are you using, a black box you screw the atty onto or is it a DMM? A link to it would be good. Do you think it is accurate and giving you reliable readings?
Like *deleon said, make sure the coils are not touching the deck or the cap when you put that on.
Also, you'll be drawing almost 20 amps with a 0.2 ohm setup. Are your batteries capable of handling that safely?
maybe, just maybeee... the screw is a tad too long and its hitting the deck below the positive plate??
