nimbus xl clone RBA keeps shorting for no reason

when im making my coil, after the first coil i check the ohms and there is a short. if i loosen the screws the short disapears, so it shorts whenever i tighten the screws. am i doing something wrong?

also this may be a dumb question, but if i use a shorted atomizer on a mod it will short the battery correct? i cant think of any other reason my battery wont work. thanks!!!

Clean the holes where the wire is placed. Simply by blowing throw or lightly washing it in water. Also ensure your positive post on your 510 connection is secure and in good position for contact with meter or device. If it does not have short circuit protection, IE, mech mods, then yes it will short battery. That is why i reccomend testing with ohm meter, mod with protection, or getting a fuse
