Hi all,

I got my tornado from TW on friday along with some eliquid (bubblegum). here's my problem. I've tried the drip method and the tea bag mod and with both I'm not seeming to get much vapor. I've watched videos on how to do both methods. What am I doing wrong? With dripping I do no more than 3 drops on the atty. And with the tea bag I put 8 drops in my cart. Please Help!!

Thanks

Dude

Hmm....if the tornado is a manual button, prime it and look inside. If it doesn't start heating up and show a little orange glow than there is a good chance the atomizer isn't working. Try another atomizer, check your battery for power, check the connection, the usual suspects. If it is heating up and you aren't producing any vapor than...hmm lemme know and we can continue diagnosis. Most likely suspect would be the juice.

Edit: the tornado appears to be a manual button...never used one before but they have a great reputation.

Try the auto drip mod by scottyballs.

I had the most success with this cart mod on my Tornado. The PTB mod only works half the time for me.

Dripping on the TW 510 atty seems to be a hit and miss affair. Both of my TW 510 attys flood and leaks a lot via dripping.

One reason could also be faulty attys, but I think that's highly unlikely. Another reason could be the type of e-juice you used.

If it works, you can see the Tornado producing excellent vapor production and TH.

The good thing about the battery is that you will be producing excellent results until the batt goes dead.

Batts are fully charged. Atty turns red. I'm using decadent vapours from TW. I'll try to clean my atty out. Would it turn red if it was flooded though?? Also, the other thing is that I was getting a decent amount of vapor for the first few days. Only yesterday evening did it start to give me puny hits. Any other thoughts?? I'm gonna clean the atty over break.

Thanks!!

It wouldn't light up easily if flooded... how long does it take before you see it producing visible light?

If the atty works then we can knock that one out, it may need a good cleaning though due to flooding/gunk buildup...but if it's new I doubt it. I only clean my 510 once or twice a week. (I run a high voltage passthrough though...)

Is the draw hard? That is usually a pretty good sign of a flooded atty, as well as gurgling sounds coming from the atomizer.

My best suggestion is try dripping 1 drop, then hitting it, then another drop if it doesnt work, then hitting it, then a third, etc until you find a nice realm. Dripping 1 drop at a time helps a ton to find that sweetspot. For a 510 atty on high voltage it seems to be about 2 drops for me...nice plume of vapor for a few hits, then redrip, and repeat.

I doubt its the liquid if its TW, those guys are pro.

Okay so far...... I've tried dripping (not much vapor like i've seen others get and my atty floods with even 2 drops. one drop doesn't even make much vapor) I've done the tea bag mod (not much vapor either!!!) and i've even just been using the damn carts that came with my Tornado. Am I doing something wrong or do I have bad attys??? or what??

Vapor is also dependent on the way you hit it. I should probably mention that a long slow draw will produce a nice thick vapor while a short hard puff will dilute it with more air making it appear thinner.

If the attys are heating up they aren't likely bad... the batteries are newer and charged, that shouldn't be an issue, the juice is primo, so the only thing I can think of is to try out different methods of inhalation. I like to suck in slowly for about 5 seconds into my mouth, then remove my mouth from the ecig and inhale completely into my lungs. Produces a nice calming effect, although I still haven't figured it out to an artform.

If you want to see what's coming out of it, do about a 5 second draw then puff it out instead of inhaling.

Another thing that should be mentioned is that PG juices evaporate MUCH quicker than VG, so you won't see as much of a visible cloud with PG if you inhale.
