Please help....none of my cartomizers work!

I ordered an Ego C 650mAh battery and some Smoketek 510 2.5 ohm cartomizers.... and they all have this bad throat hit/taste and produce hardly no vapor. what have i done wrong??

2.5 ohm might be a little high for a 3.7v battery. Also depends on the juice your using.

hmm... well thanks for the reply but my roommate ordered the exact same setup as me, except he got some 2.0 ohms to try with his as well...and those are producing the same results

I agree with 2.5 being too high especially since it could be even higher if they are off (do you have a multi-meter?). Go grab a 1.5 ohm Joyetech atty for an Ego battery. Or you could get some of the 1.7 Ohm Smoktech single coil cartomizers. Just make sure you don't get dual coils because the battery you have won't push them hard enough to be a good vape. Same can be said for the standard resistance cartomizers. They simply are too high of a resistance for a 3.7~ batt.

Um ya you might get a more enjoyable taste from a lower resistance carto ,but 2.5 ohm should work ok and certainly shouldn't give you a burnt taste. Now I'm about to ask a potentially dumb question. You did fill them with e-liquid first didn't you ? If so how did you fill them ?
