Hello,
I am amazed at the scope of E-Cigs, much of the discussions I've read do not apply to me at this point. I have quit analog smoking but am on a budget and am at a very fundamental stage. Any help appreciated.

I am just looking for an economical decent tasting e-juice to refill some of my atomizers to help cut cost. I have good instruction's from youtube on how to do it.

The atomizers I will refill are 21st Century and Blu. I like the taste of blu's "Natural tobacco" and that is the type of E-juice I am looking for.

Any help directing me to a good E-Juice and Website is appreciated. I want to keep this fairly simple at this point and don't need a full proof solution, just E-juice to refill a few atomizers for 21st Century and Blu, best bang for the buck.

All help truly appreciated!

I personally wouldn't use juice from China, no matter how cheap. JMHO

I have been DIYing almost since the beginning, and taste is VERY subjective, but I hear great things about Mt Baker, and the prices are great. USA Made Nicotine Juice, E Juice, E Liquid, Electronic Cigarette Juice I would suggest trying several of the smallest bottles of different tobacco flavors to find what best suits your taste buds. :)

Vaporbreak offers tobacco flavors at $1.50 for 10ml as well. I can't vouch on e juice from china. But if budget is the most demanding factor I'd give it a try. Fasttech sells 50ml bottles of different e juice for like... $5.25. And that's a LOT of juice for five bills. When I first quit the analogs I wouldn't have cared if it tasted like burnt taco shells. Just had to have the nic. Expect 10 days or so to get it, so long as customs doesn't snag your order. Start there. Let us know what you come up with! Good luck!

Thanks. I am from Cullman and am a huge Bama fan. Nice to see another fan, thanks.
I am going with your recommendation.

Mtbakervapor all the way...I was using dekang juice when I started and thought that was cheap... Then I bought from several places.

I came across the thread for mtbakervapor and saw all the raves about them. Well, all the hype is true! 15ml for 4.99 30ml for like 7.50.

If you spend $15 they throw in a free bottle of juice! How can you go wrong!

The juices taste great also. Give em a try. Made in the USA!

Thanks to everyone. I went with Mount Baker 555 E Juice Baker Vapor. I could not turn down help from a fellow 'tider, and a +1
Total was $7.06 for 15ml after I used a 10% of coupon easily found online. 80/20 and 24mg

For the price and company recommendations, I will probably stick with them and try different types, but the 555 seemed to be a good starting point.

Thank You. Order done and ready to start refilling! I am moving from novice 101 to novice 102.

Not to derail the subject, but is "e-solid" a real term or something that was lost in translation?

OP - if you're looking for reasonably priced juice there's a lot of US vendors that sells dekang. Not too sure what the blu stuff tastes like, but dekang dk-tab and ry4 are both pretty solid juices for the price IMHO. Fasttech and Health Cabin are even cheaper if you can wait.

Mt baker might be even a little cheaper yet, and it looks like they don't filter negative reviews on their site (personally I look for the word "perfumy" in the reviews for the ones to avoid). If you're not sure what to buy you can also sort their e-liquid page by the most popular and best reviewed juices. I can't speak for their tobacco juices, although I'd like to try some later.

Unfortunately, Blu's flavors are proprietary. I've looked for a replacement for their tobacco one myself and the closest I've gotten is Johnson Creek's Domestic (sometimes mixed a bit with their Tennessee Cured). JC actually make's Blu's liquids but the ones they sell to Blu, they only sell to Blu. You can't buy them. Domestic is pretty close though. I think.

But JC ain't economical I'm afraid. They're actually a bit on the pricey side. Good product but not cheap.

The way I'm saving money is mixing my own. The simple way being to go to Mount Baker, get unflavored nic juice, some dripper bottles (they have those too), some flavors, and some cheap, plastic "hypos" (you know, things they give you shots with just without needles) to measure with.

I'm saving a bundle. Of course, I'm not as good as the experts that do a lot of the really great stuff you can order premixed but simple mixes like a single flavor I like, I do fine. It's not hard. And it's way cheap. I spent $44 last month and for July, so far, $0. I do want some more blueberry and I'm outta banana so I'm probably making a $20 order early August.

(Also looking into a place where it appears I can get plain nic juice for a third what Mount Baker sells for but still checking on that)

Another vote for MBV. I just put in another order there myself tonight. They have great prices and their shipping is beyond belief. But alot of their juices need to steep. If you get them and think they don't taste very good, give them a week or so to steep and you'll be suprised at the difference.

I mostly like fruit flavors myself but between me and my mother in law, we have bought a lot of different juices from MBV and I have liked almost everything we've bought.

Good advice. I received my shipment from MT Vapor and am very happy, but as you say, it doesn't have the quality flavor. I will eventually take the next step you mention. I made note of it.

Thanks for the tips.

I am adding a few drops into the blu atomizers and it last a decent amount of time. I am wondering how many times I can refil a cartridge. And I am curious to where the sizzling sound sound comes from, is that all E-Juice and battery?

My plan is to buy a blu 5 pack and a bottle of juice a week and then refill them, and maybe buy a new battery once a month. Hope this regiment holds up. Would save a lot of money.

Since we're talking a liquid being heated and vaporized, "sizzle" is normal. Times I've thought maybe a carto or clearo is acting up, I've held them up to my ear to see if I can hear them sizzling. Basically, a carto is like this:

Cartomizera.jpg

The Blu's are so small, some "sizzle" could be you got a bit of juice down the air tube. It's not easy refilling theirs. They're just so tiny. You said you've watched YouTube videos so you probably know to "blow out" the carto to get the excess out of the air tube. One thing I did when I was using cartos mostly (now I use Vision clearos and only rarely a carto) was fill in the evening and let them sit (standing up) overnight. Seemed to let the juice permeate the batting more evenly and the excess drip out. I've seen some people use little "racks" to hold the cartos upright (I think often ammo holders are used of all things).

With cartos like the Blu's, I just went by taste. If you ever get a "burnt" taste, that's it. The batting got fried and you'll never get that taste out. There doesn't seem to be a "set" amount of times for refills. If it tastes fine, it is fine. I was just careful to keep them wet. Drip a little here and there as I vaped.

Actually, at that point, I was talking the mixes I did myself. Mount Baker does some nice juices. Thing is, they mix them fresh so if you use them right away, the taste may be off. That's where people get into "steeping". Letting them sit and the components in the juice blend more evenly. It's definitely, absolutely critical you shake the bottles at the very least. Real vigorous shaking. I refer to it as "shaking like I'm having a seizure". :)

No hard and fast rules with that either. Varies a lot with the juice. I've given some MBV (Mount Baker Vapor, everybody abbreviates around here :) ) good, hard shaking and it's been great. Others, not so much. So I set them aside and let them steep a while. Try again later.

Also, again, in my experience, filling cartos then letting them sit overnight improved the flavor. Maybe it soaks the batting more evenly if you let it sit overnight?

Takes a little experimenting to find what works for you...

This is great information to save in my new E-Cig folder!

All of the information, blowing out, shaking bottle, def. of steep and doing it, and letting them sit upright overnight is new to me. This will all come in handy as I will continue to refill the Blu atomizers for the foreseeable future. The only trick I learned from video's was using a thin toothpick to help guide towards the bottom. But letting them sit overnight to drain makes a lot more sense.

I was actually thinking about the burning last night before I went to sleep (kind of on my mind since I just received the refills), and it hit me that the fibers and residue have to start decomposing from heat and would probably result in a burnt taste, this use only a few times.

So for me, with this information you provided, I can just experiment around with different E-juices and find one I like. The Mount Baker 555 is a little too sweet for my liking, but maybe stepping will help. But I have the basic mechanics and tricks down from the help received here in the board.

Thank you for spending the time to inform me.

Another thing I have learned from the board is that you seem to grow into flavors, they all taste strange at first.
this is true, had a couple bakery flavors that were initially off putting but now have really grown on me, a key lime pie juice comes to mind.
