Hey all, I just got my REOS Lo-pro, and have quickly developed a love hate relationship with it....i love everything about it except for the fact that I have non squonking digits....i push and push and only with lots of swearing, holding my tongue in right position, a signed congressional bill, and proper moon alignment, does any juice come up from the bottom of my rm2....so i first think the issue is the rm2, maybe the hole isn't large enough...so i dremel a patriot rda and install...i used massive amounts of wicking and it really soaked it up, but i went through a 6 ml bottle in about 30 minutes with the patriot on...so next, and this is where i am right now...next i think, wouldn't it be easier to squeeze the bottle between my two finger instead of squashing it up agains the side wall?....so now I'm thinking got drilling out a new squonking window on the back side of the mod....so i can just squeeze the bottle....anybody tried this, or am i just stupid?

Okay...before you get crazy....let's try a little troubleshooting first.

First, the tube may be stuck to the bottom or side of the bottle. Cut an inverted V in the bottom of the tube...like this ^.

Next, straighten one end of a paperclip and run it through the atomizer connector on the mod to make sure there isn't any blockage. Then do the same on your atomizer.

And finally, make sure you haven't over tightened the cap on your bottle.

Keep us posted....

I cannot imaging that that would be better. Step away from the dremel :)

You might be having flow issues (happens to some of us - no, not that kind of flow issues :glare:) and/or you just need to break in the bottle. Take the cap off of your atty and watch as you squeeze - it should come up with only little pressure on a full bottle. If it doesn't, check your tube connection at the base of your connection pin (might have to remove the delrin cover) and make sure the tube is free of the bottle bottom (so that juice can easily flow up it).

Also, take the bottle off, empty it, and work it with your fingers to soften it up. Not sure if you have a mini or a grand, but the mini (3 ml) bottles can be quite stiff at first.

Whoa! It only takes a couple few minutes to figger this out!

Observe your squonk: Take the cover off and squonk. What's happening? Are you seeing liquid go up the tube attached to the bottle or not? If not let's work the bottle end first:

Do the V-cut in the bottom of the tubing as Rhapsodies Fire suggested. Try again. Izzit moving up the tube now?

Still got problems? It could be you are over-tightening the bottle. That can jam the o-ring up into the cap and cause problems with a bad seal to the bottle.

You may also be going the other direction as well - not tightening enough. Again causing air to leak out if you didn't get a good seal.

The bottle needs to be screwed on firmly, but not too tight or not too loose. (Yeah - I hadda do the Zen thing.)

If it's not on the bottle end of things - but I'm betting it is - then move onto the atty.

There were some rm2s that went out recently with smaller juice holes if the bottom of your reomizer has a regular screw driver slot this may very well be the problem .Anyone that got one of these is welcome to send it in for a replacement . These would only be a problem for a 100 % vg user
.
that would be it Rob, mine has the screw driver slot...and i vape 100% vg....im gonna hold of on sending it back to you, I'm thinking of adding some pg to my juices to try to get some more flavor out of them, so maybe that will help with the issue...im also looking at your reomizer 4.0.....:p
