It would seem knowing the type of e-liquids vaped would be a vital clue as to what the problem is...

Putting aside ALL other Possibilities..........maybe, but doubtful as there is no known link to Sore Throat from vaping Custard Flavors.

Again, you offer little in relation to the Thread, The Ops issue or resolution.

And considering that newbie are now being advised to get high wattage sub-ohm stuff as STARTER KITS, as well as to start off with 18mg nic if they are "just getting off cigs and trying to quit", I'd say recipe for problems.

But people can continue to laugh at me for suggesting a high mAH Spinner and a nice little clearo like a GS Air or nautilus or single coil clearo or something to start off with.....

No way sister, I wouldn't do that because I agree with you :) I just started by brother on a subox mini kit but I only did that because I am around to closely monitor things, otherwise I would also suggest newbies get lower powered units at first.

Oh, yeah, mech 'clone', RDA 'clone' and DIY are great options for beginners... Who will give up in a week due to frustration...

I thought I read somewhere that either PG or VG absorbs moisture and can dry you throat and you should drink extra water from vaping. I'm a noob so Idk if that's even correct.

May cause dry mouth. One would have to drink gallons of PG to actually become dehydrated from it...

its not correct ( the dehydration part) but it will make your mouth "feel" drier ( but so do pretzel).... its just a myth.... VG or PG absorbs about 40% of its volume in water in excellent conditions.... if you vaped 10ml you would loose at most 4 ml of water from vaping.... really dont see that as a reason to drink over a liter of fluid due to vaping...

i would not laugh at you for that suggestion - that is where I started... and depending on the smoker and their usage, that can be a great starting point (and personally, i would not recommend sub-ohm for a brand new vaper - though I have recommended the kanger subtank with the 1.2 ohm coils or 1.5 ohm coils) - I think sometimes folks forget that we didn't start with the uber-vape-ninjaturtle setup we are currently vaping on and want to share the love, albeit misguided

had I known about or even had access to medium to hi power mods and drippers, I wouldnt have spent a fortune on Blus and Egos... when I started vaping, Protank1 was the hottest thing on the market...
