I had this issue with my BCC mega tanks. The problem was my oring seats. They were not down properly. I would check that first. Secondly, overfilling is a huge cause of this issue. To test, I would fill the clearo up only half way to the fill line, and vape. See if the issue returns.

I don't know if the sucking effect causes some sort of vacuum, but I suspect that, if pulling too hard, if could cause the juices to flow into the atty. Just speculation, however.

Fubar is right, if your pulling on it too hard too often it could easily cause the flood your talking about. Take slow long drags. It takes effort at first but it'll be natural soon. Those orings are also likely culprits. Only other idea jumping at me is some business both online and B&M sell knock off atomizers. I've had bad experience with those so I buy the genuine kangertech ones for my pro tank. You could buy the best setup in the world and get a crappy vape with a bad atty. Oh and make sure the atty isn't loose either had that happen too.

I haven't had any issues with my mpt2. Though moisture still builds up in that center stem. I always make sure after I fill it that I run a small pipe cleaner up through the stem and dip tip. I also fill it up as full as I can without issue. Just keep playing around with it and there is some good advice above

No, when they get low they tend to flood. You want to keep them full.

You're right about pulling to hard though.

Sorry, hard draw and Air leak cause flooding.
Removing part of wick can cause flooding.

Being low is not a reason to flood.
I Vape my Kanger BBC's Dry regularly

What good would a 3ml tank be if you must fill every 1.5ml?

2 possibilities.

1) over wicking. The main wicks are over saturated and the heat causes some juice to spit up into the tube and up your drop tip. Usually, the flavor wicks help prevent that. Hence your flavor wicks may not be enough, or they are out if position. Silica flavor wicks have a tendency to move out of position if you draw too hard.

2) may not actually be juice, but rather the condensation from the vapor from the previous vape. To lessen the chance of this happening, continue drawing for about 1/2 to 1 second after releasing fire button. This ensures all vapor is drawn out.
Necessary if you're using the vamo, which continues to fire for a split second more after you've released the fire button.

Yes it is a reason to flood.

Protanks are known to flood and leak when they get low on juice.

I have a mini pt and it has only happened when I flooded the wick. Basically a new coil and I didn't have a problem. How often are you changing them? I put a new or dry one in each day or so when I change juice. I bought a 25 pack off fasttech and haven't had a problem with any of them. I soak them in vodka overnight or for a day or 3 and let them sit on paper towels for a few days.

Simple facts:
Some say if it gets low it leaks
Some say it never leaks - mine are the latter

If a tank is leaking this indicates some sort of issue
If said tank never leaks for others, the Issue may not be the Design, but rather the way it is being used. :)

Have had posters swear the tank was a leaker and later post they had damaged or lost a seal. Some were not getting the coil tight. Some removing Flavor wicks with thinner e-liquids. others removing the Chimney seal.

Lots of reasons for leaking besides being a Protank. ;)

Well, they always leak and there's no getting around that. You will always have a damp post.
