I've had my kit for less than a month and now my batteries don't work! I have l88b's. They light up and take a charge correctly. They also light up right when you blow on them. BUT as soon as you connect an atty they just flicker a little and don't work!?! Ive tried all 4 of my attys on my last good battery and they're fine. Could it be my charger? I only use the wall/usb or the PCC it came with. also ive tried blowing them out and letting them sit overnight but still nothing. Does any body have this problem or know whats causing it?

It's probably just not making a connection with your atomizer. Try cleaning the threads of the battery and atomizer with alcohol. If this doesn't work, try the staple mod: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-center-conductor-gap-penstyle-atomizers.html

Nope. Tried both and still same results! I cleaned batt & atty with an old baby toothbrush to make sure I got all the way inside the threads. I even tried the staple thing three times making adjustments to the "V" that goes down inside but nothing helped. Thanks though for the suggestions!

I have three batteries. One died yesterday, one today and I'm using the third. I do refill my carts but I don't think I'm overfilling cause I rarely get juice in my mouth and my carts run out fast. I also don't see any juice on my battery nor does my battery smell like juice. The battery doesn't short at all until I get it screwed on to an atty.

The series automatic batteries of the l88b, along with the vx2, 902, sidesho, etc., from my experience are EASILY killed. I've had 3 different auto batteries die within a week of usage. I don't overfill, NEVER drip, and infact the battery didn't even have any residue or liquid on it. On the other hand, the manual batteries I've had for the same models not only work great, but are infact my favorite e-cigs. I think the reason the batteries die so easy is due to the easy pull of the models, but that's just a guess. I haven't tried the staple mod, so I might just go do that now.

Side note - The batteries act like they're charging when plugged into a charger, but do absolutely nothing when trying to use them. Another won't charge, lights use like a normal battery, but doesn't activate the atty at all.

Love these models, but the automatic batteries are terrible. I've never had a piece of e-cig equipment fail on me like these.

When you screw the batt into the charger lead dont over tighten i did this with mine and it says its charged but it not try to unscrew it about 1mm

They seem to take a charge just fine cause I can blow on them and they work just fine. It isn't till I screw on an atty that they quit working. Not only do they not fire the atty, the LED barley flickers and super dim? Then I unscrew it and blow or suck on the batt and it seems to work again?

Do you drip? Even ff you do or don't then you got some cleaning to do. First of some attys has a hole right where the + of the battery power is located. This is where liquid gets tru. Then some has a wick that that prevents this from happening.

But then most times the inner core where the atty connects to the battery sometimes get flushed with a bit of liquid. No matter how.. Even tho the atty is suppose to burn up most of the liquid it still leaks down to the battery core..

Each night i have to clean inside the core of the atty where the battery is connected and also clean the battery it self. Just use some tissue and toothpick (never use a pin or any metal device to clean battery) You might so happen to cause a surge and break it.

Reason i started doing this is one day i looked into the the base of the charge where you screw on and noticed the top of he charger device was getting a bit black.. (This was liquid that was in the battery component, had to clean this out also just stuck a tooth pick wrapped with some tissue.

Like i quoted on another thread about attys: Ecigs are leaky babies we have to always clean and wipe them up. So do take care.
