What's up everybody I'm really trying to keep my trigger finger from pullin before I get my hands on some good info. Basically I've been looking at getting a Vamo v3 from fasttech. I've been looking at their 59$ kit that comes with the Nitecore charger and Panasonic 18650's which seem to be the most legit combo that I've seen in a kit for that price. I'm upgrading from some halo g6's and a vv triton that i'll use as backup so I what I'm lost in now is the never ending work of "protanks" and "drip tips" "atomizers" "vivi nova"... my head is starting to spin here lol.... if anybody could lead me into good starting point for 510 connection stuff, or even a better beginning apv please let me know.. Thanks and god bless.

OK, here's my two cents worth. The Vamo, from V2 through V5 is a safe bet. Full featured and pretty reliable. Panasonic batteries are among the best. The Nitecore charger is also a pretty reliable device. Problem is, the Chinese are trying to stop battery shipments so it could, and I stress COULD, get held up or returned to fastech. They have been getting sneaky and wrapping batteries in foil to fool the scanners, but how long that might work, or even if it's effective, is a whole other question.

As far as delivery systems, that is something you have to try. I use exclusively bottom coil devices, T3s, Protanks and Raven tanks, with an occasional CE3 when I run out of filled tanks. Some folks like the top coil stuff, some dual coil stuff and some low resistance drip equipment. It all comes down to your own style of vaping and exactly what you're looking for. Personally, I'd lean toward a Protank simply because it is easy to work with or a T3 for the same reason, to start with and go from there.

The Vamo V3 is great and has the cone eGo threads in addition to the 510 threads. It also has a top ring that's removable, and is a clear upgrade from V2. I have a V3 and love it.

If you want to start with an inexpensive no-brainer top device, I'd recommend the Aro Pyrex tank. Smoktech ARO Pyrex Glass BCC - Red These pyrex tanks hit great and have rebuildable heads that run $1.49. The heads hit so good and deliver so much flavor I use them in my Protank 2 instead of the Kanger heads and it made a HUGE improvement to the Protank.

The PT2 looks better sitting on the V3 though, because it's the same diameter as the Vamo. The Aro tanks are thinner, more like a fat EVOD. If you want to see a picture of each device on a V3 I wrote a post comparing the Aro to the PT2. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...protank-2-vs-aro-pyrex-tank.html#post10719698 I tend to use the PT2 for my all-day-vape and have a few Aro tanks I keep filled with specialty juices to I can switch between them. The PT2 runs close to $20 however, and the Aro is only $7.99.

The great thing about both devices is they are pyrex, so don't have to worry about juices. And they CAN both use Aro heads, but Kanger heads don't work in the Aro.

Good luck and enjoy!

EDIT: About FastTech and shipping - they are also going on holiday from Oct 1 - 6th and the warehouse will only be "partially open".
