i just purchased my 1st e-cig from a kiosk in the mall
and i am now researching and can not find any info on the device i purchased
im trying to figure out what model it is or is imitating,
also in the little book it says only use smoke nv cartridges , other cartridges or liquids may dammage
i can only buy packs of 5 filled cartomizers from there website but no empties and no e-fluids
does this mean im limited to just this brand and no juices or is there a way around it

does any one have any info on the brand (smoke nv inc)
SMOKE NV INC.

It appears you paid approximately double what you could have by doing some upfront research.

There's really no way to tell what model or type it is from information on their website. Use the search engine here on ECF on the "condom method" of refilling cartomizers and there are plenty of videos on how to do this also. You should be able to refill them a few times, but this companys replacement cartomizers are tremendously expensive also.

My suggestion would be to purchase another unit from one of the suppliers registered here on ECF where you can get replacement cartos, blank or empty cartos you can fill yourself and anything else you want at a reasonable price. Do some reading in the "stickeys" for more information on this and do some reading on this site. Once you get something else you could keep the one you have as a back-up.

Other than the extremely high price there is probably nothing wrong with the unit you have and if it gets you started on vaping and you are happy with it, it was probably money well spent.

My first kit was a DirectEcig which is a rebranded classic 8041. I found this out via wonderful members here. Posting a picture is best and measure the diameter, in miliimeters across the outside of the attomizer, the part that screws into the battery. Most rulers and tape measures have inch and mm markings.

It is highly likely that your PV is a rebranded common style. You'll probably be able to find many parts for it at great prices, from many vendors.

It is probably bunk that any other cartridge will harm your PV.

DH and I have several styles now. going on one month vaping. He is recovering from a pretty bad upper respiratory virus that went into a bacterial bronchial infection and is coughing violently and frequently (He's on antibiotics. DH is M.D.; I'm RN.). The original ecig is perfect for him right now as the vape is "milder" than our others.

I just purchased an extra battery and PCC for it as we will still use it and/or loan it out to friends (Merchant sent me a complimentary, preloaded carto too.). I had already ordered additional carts and attys from DirectEcig and I'm now cleaning and reusing them, using my own fluval filling. I didn't want to waste my initial investment in it even though we have, more or less, "moved on".

also my mom really likes this thing i showed her last night so im thinking of gifting this model to her and ordering something a little easier to get stuff for

i think my mom would be happy enough with the flavors they have and not care for making her own

so now i need to decide which model to buy myself ,this one i have does smoke really well though i get a lot of vape and can blow several rings in a puff and the vapor doesnt clear immediately it smokes really well

I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last), but it looks exactly like my SmokeTip which is a kr808d-1 automatic battery and cartomizers. If so, you can buy prefilled cartomizers from several vendors, also blank ones you can fill yourself.

Look at SmokeTip.com and click on accessories> batteries for a larger picture. See if it looks like yours to you. Also look Vapor4Life Vapor King batteries, VaporNine Nebula.

Hope I'm not wrong and this helps.

I love mine! It's a very popular model. I buy pre-filled cartomizers from several vendors. I also refill them with juices from several other vendors. You can buy any accessories from SmokeTip, Vapor4Life, etc. Anything that fits a KR808d-1 will be fine. If you're still unsure, I'd just order some pre-filled cartomizers first to be sure they fit.

See the great videos MistressNomad put up. They will explain so much to you:
