Hi there I jumped the gun and bought a smoke NV are they any good I spent 80$ on it and dont want it to be a complete waste ( im hoping to eliminate real ciggs with it. can you use other companys cartridges with it Iv found I hate the taste and smell of the "canadian" cartridges that come with it im hoping the store i bought it in will be getting in some other flavours that are more compareable to tabacco or id even go menthol at this point..
and funny enough I cough while smoking the smoke NV but iv been smoking normal ciggs for about 10 years now. its that normal?
Sorry for all the stupid questions!

I can't comment on the product itself except to say that it looks to be a very, very, very expensive kit for what you are getting (which is likely similar to the very popular kr808d-1 that can be had for about $50 and cartomizers for about $10 for a 5 pack).

The reason you are coughing is most likely due to the fact that you aren't used to the vapor in your lungs -- same thing probably happened when you began smoking. It seems so strange that we can inhale all those toxic fumes for so many years and then this clean alternative makes our lungs go crazy. It'll pass as you get more used to it, just take smaller, airier drags for a while. (If you've ever had a steam facial, you know it happens then too.)

I won't say they are safe for everyone because I don't think that non-smokers should use e-cigs, but I can say that if you are switching from smoking to vaping they are 10000k times more safe. E-cigs use three of the 599+ ingredients that are already present in tobacco cigarettes, so it's not so much a matter of what we ARE inhaling as it's a matter of what we are NO LONGER inhaling.

Here's some info regarding their safety and efficacy: http://www.casaa.org/files/CASAA-Ecig-TriFold-Brochure.pdf

Good luck!! :)

Yeah when I went on the companys site I was pretty thrown off on the amount the refills cost..( that and the one flavour the store has in is nasty..)
I was hoping perhaps there was a way to be able to use other companys refills with it is that at all possible.. or would that mess up the one I have.. I pretty much got this one because I was able to buy it in store and that saved the hassle of ordering online and so forth!
Thanks so much for replying!

I can't find anything that's compatible though there probably is one, all these things are made in China and renamed for each supplier. A reputable supplier will usually tell you the real model number so that you can shop around.

I would normally recommend that you refill the cartomizers (smoke nv called them cartridges, but they are actually cartomizers - atomizer+cartridge=cartomizer) except that it seems you have automatic batteries and that means unprotected batteries. If you want to refill them with your own e-liquids you can but you must be very cautious with automatic batteries that you don't get any leaking or moisture inside the battery at all, you'd have to make sure or else it will kill the battery.

Also, it may be hard to get the old flavor out of them.

I wish I could figure out what the real model number is (though some are actually proprietary and not compatible with anything else - it's rare, but it happens) so I could recommend a different vendor for refills and supplies. I can't find anything about them though... yet.
