THis is the second time I've gotten a new battery for Joye 501. I got the mega and as soon as I charge it it won't work. The first one I used the USB charger and this one I tried the wall AC charger. The charger works on my regular Joye batteries. Is there a way to reset the battery. Could the chargers I got with my kit be bad or something, they work on my regular batteries??? Help I'm about to quit vaping and start smoking I've had nothing but problems with equip.

Just to clarify: you are using the 510 batteries (reg and xl) and are using 510 chargers? (NOT ego, NOT blu, ect)

oh, i wish i could help, but I don't use that equipment. i hope someone who can help will respond soon. please, i don't know how long you have been vaping, but if you hang in there, I am sure you will find something that works great for you. One thing about vaping though, it pays to have a backup, even if it's a cheap disposable ecig. Just use your other stuff until you work this out. Don't give up.
The best thing I can tell you is GET A MOD. If you can't afford to buy one, visit the modders section---they are cheap to make.

yikkkks!!!! joy tech has a couple of chargers and they only work for certain batteries. use one on another and it will fri it.

Try wiggling it up a little with some tweezers. That is the center part on the atty end of the battery. It moves and is just held there with a washer or something.

*note: the center post getting out of alignment can cause it not to charge and/or not to make connection with your atty or carto.

No, you don't want to push it.. Um get something like some tweeezera or a paperclip and try to gently 'lift' the center post. Do that from a couple angles and see it that will help

One more question.. Are they manual or automatic?
If manual, does the LED light up when you push the button?
If auto, does the LED light up when you suck hard on the atty end?

Don't give up, they are supposed to blink four times on the battery when you plug in the charger and the charger light should go red as well for an AC charger. You may want to try a new charger or return your kit. Try litecigsusa.net, they sell good joye equipment and have good support and return policies. I don't use the 510 anymore, but bought from Shawn there and still buy attys and drip tips and my eGo was from him. I use mods now like the reo or Provari but don't give up, its worth it to keep at it for your health!
are they automatic or manual batts? If they are auto you may have gotten juice where it doesn't belong

I would contact the vendor you purchased from.....they may need to replace the kit.
Not push, pull up the center post....sounds like it is not making contact......
Sounds to me like you may have gotten a bad battery.
Where are you buying these batteries, are you sure that they are actually Joye? Only ask that because you say 501 and Authentic Joye batteries would be 510's. It may have been a typo, but there are a lot of companies out there calling their knock off Joye products under names like 501, vGo, ect.

Some of the Joye batts have the on/off feature, generally to turn them on or off you have to push the buttom 5 times within 2 seconds to either turn it on or off. Might do the trick? I just read though that your button won't move or push.
